  1. Oh, if only we had access to the stems/vocal mixes of some of this songs to understand the words... As she has admitted that being lazy is the reason why she doesn't put the lyrics on the booklets anymore, smh.
  2. I believe in one booklet it said "can you break this heart of mine", like what ????
  3. Ohhh, if it wasn't for the 'storm' line before it, it would actually sound pretty cool, it'd make sense!
  4. Fellow Lana worshipers, I'm a soul in need. We all know Lana likes to adopt certain accents or ways of pronouncing words that make some of them hard to be understood clearly. Do you have problems understanding what Lana's trying to say in certain songs? Here is a list of mine, if you also have doubts about what the hell is she saying in some of her songs, and —just like me— would like to find out the real words, please add your lyrics so we could make them out clearly (or try to guess what sounds the most logical, at least). • 'Lust For Life' -There's no need for us to: • come away • complain • come and lay -Too much fun tonight: • And A lust for life • And OUR lust for life • 'Sad Girl' -His Bonnie on the side makes me: • sad, sad, girl • a sad, sad girl • so sad, girl • 'Shades of Cool' -I'm one of many: • Bonnies blue • One is blue •'Fuck My Way Up to the Top' -Tell me something: • Like, I'm your favorite girl • Nice, 'bout your favorite girl • 'Fuck It I Love You' -California dreamin' got my money on my mind: • jazz is in my veins • drugs is in my veins • chances in my veins
  5. They would definitely do that for the 10th year anniversary! Maybe including some outtakes fully mastered and produced. Something like this: CD1 — Standard Edition + 3 Bonus Tracks CD2 — Outtakes (Kinda Outta Luck, You Can Be the Boss, Damn You, Driving in Cars With Boys, and such).
  6. "Our lust for life keep us alive" Good to know that line is canon (rather than "a lust for life"). It makes sense considering she changed the subject from the demo version (from singular to plural).
  7. Random fact, but that siren-like sound at the end is known as the 'G-Funk' West Coast synth sound; prominent in the late 80's and early 90's hip hop movement (songs like "Gin and Juice" by Snoop Dogg, "Nothing But A G Thang" by Dr. Dre, among several other hip hop songs). It was a big thing back in the day. I'm pretty sure it was added as a nod/homage to that.
  8. Hey, I was wondering if any caritative soul could help me to find her version of "Du Är Den Ende" in mp3/m4a. I've tried to buy it but I can't seem to find where to do so!
  9. "In the Flats of Melrose" (From the book Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass).
  10. Honeymoon was the last — and in my personal opinion the most — cohesive record asthetically and sonically wise. So much for a so called 'vanity' project as she refers to it.
  11. I hope she uses capital letters in the titles, I'm SO over the all-lowercase songtitles in the music industry in general. It looks predictable and cringy at this point.
  12. Thanks for the quick reply! Actually, I tried once to increase/upscale the loudness with Audacity and it was a mess, hahaha. But then again, I have literally no knowledge on the topic jj
  13. I'm not an audio expert, but I've had noticed something about the mixing/mastering of the volume of 'Norman Fucking Rockwell!' (the album). For some reason, the volume sounds 'quieter' and 'lower' when comparing it to Born to Die or Ultraviolence. Hell, even Honeymoon, being a chiller and low-scale record sounds louder. I've bought the record on Itunes as well as the physical version to make sure it wasn't my headphones, radio or even my ears (lol). Does anyone think similarly? Is it just me? Do anyone know how or where can I find a 'louder' version of the album? The other day I asked the same question on Reddit and the only answers I got where 'turn up the volume' lol.
  14. god bless you, sweetheart!
  15. thx a lot for taking your time to answer! But I was looking for the mp3 links, tho... Does anyone have them?
  16. Could please a generous soul help me to find "Burning Bridges", "Heavenly Lies" and "Felt The Bleed", please? As the pico-links are dead (just as the website), I can't find them anywhere, and I'm thirsty for those unreleased tracks, please. You'd make someone really happy <3
  17. Yosemite's 2019 comeback
  18. could please somebody rip the Cornflake Girl cover? I don't really use Spotify and I really want to hear it and add it to my collection! I'd be really grateful~
  19. I can definitely picture Lana actually using some of these extra song titles tho. We're talking about the same woman who has a song titled "Coachella — Woodstock In My Mind" and "Norman Fucking Rockwell". ps. I find "Bandwagon Bangers Inc" and "Red Fucking Peppers Sprees" to be quite cool tho
  20. what if Happiness Is A Butterfly ends up being this six-minute-long beautiful track with tempo changes and interesting production, and the snippet we heard was just the intro? ok, it probably won't be, and it'll end up being the Rick Nowel-ish — 4 chords — plain ballad we've already heard in the instagram video, lol. well, if it makes the cut.
  21. we basically wrote the same thing with different words. Great minds think alike (?)
  22. Radio edit — is, well, a single edited to be suitable for radio's regulations. It's basically the song shortened (for mainstream/pop radio) when songs are longer than 4:00 minutes. Also, some radio edits sent to certain stations are 'clean versions' that edit 'inappropiate' words that might offend some people, lol. Those are usually referred to as 'clean versions' as well. These ones are produced by the same people who produced the album versions, but edited by the engineers and sometimes even by folks from the radio stations (these ones are usually quite shitty) Radio mix — a different (or slightly different) version of a single. Usually made for songs that might not be exactly 'radio friendly', thus labels sending these mixes — aiming for a broader audience. They're not that common tho, and nowadays they are quite rare, appearing in a few singles cds and/or random countries as bonus tracks. These ones might or might not be produced by the same original producers. Take "West Coast" album version, produced by Dan Auerbach, while "West Coast (Radio Mix)" is made by Rick Nowels & co. Hope it answered your question! I tried my best to be clear lol.
  23. are "Once Upon A Dream" and "Once Upon A Dream (Pop Version)" the same?
  24. Are we sure –"Tell me something nice About your favorite girl"– is right? I can't seem to hear the word "nice" at all and it bothers me so much when listening to the song. I hear something like "tell me something I– I'm your favorite girl" but sounds kind of silly and weird.
