I think it depends how the tracks flow from one to the other.. A&W on paper should not work! But she killed it! Im big on cohesion too- which is why even though I love bb songs individually, the record is my least favourite. But if A&W is anything to go by, there is the potentially that she can pull all these songs which are sonically worlds apart and create a cohesive album. BOZ described it as a journey!

I had ordered the bb signed artcard on the 24th September (which I did get) and a signed poster on the 7th November (which got cancelled) I don’t plan on buying this time.. unless it’s a lithograph I just neeeeed to have.. I ended up with duplicate items from the bb incident- especially as they cancelled my poster, I was overrun with CDs!! with Chemtrails lithograph/art card I picked them up after for cheap enough.. my brother had the LFL lithograph that he gifted me on my birthday! I would love the nfr lithographs but wow they’re pricey the art cards I’m not too fussed on

Also, I really hope she doesn’t go in to full trap/hip hop albums next time.. because I think it would then be my moment to bow out (which would be sad!) don’t get me wrong, I love A&W and I think the songs on this album will have their place.. just like I really enjoy LFL.. only because the songs are mixed in with other songs I enjoy more and it’s a up beat break from the heavier songs and it is welcomed.. but as much as I loved BTD when it came out, it’s not an album I’ll sit and listen to (even if I listen to the songs individually) and even the paradise edition is the one that holds more songs I appreciate I’m getting sidetracked.. I hope.. because there’s supposed hints of heavy electric guitar in ocean blvd.. that she continues down that route, with her backing singers etc. I found it interesting she mentioned the composing for pink Floyd.. because that gets me excited, to go down that route would probably kill me off and send me to heaven..

So I stumbled across the leaks and so now it is taking everything in myself not to listen (there’s a big internal conflict between my autism and adhd right now ) so, anyway, I’ve just woken up from a dream in which I listened to the grants leak, it felt so real.. and as I was listening I was thinking, the GP would eat this up! What are people talking about?? Then I woke up and realised it was a dream.. making it just even more difficult to not want to listen to it and see if it’s the same/similar.. I’ve been reading spoilers so the lyrics were right

Very true, and we know Lana speaks in riddles anyway! but I remember her saying about the album before she deleted her official Instagram account, it was about where’s she’s been, where she’s at now and where she’s going- which I saw the themes run through the album and probably why it ended on the very sweet track, sweet Carolina and it made sense as to why she included the trio, the good, the bad and the ugly. It was definitely supposed to hit back and be like “this is me” type thing, but, as we know, wasn’t executed well.. though I love all the tracks individually! Probably getting off topic now though.. but hopefully ocean blvd is the well rounded version of bb

I don’t know, I think it was opening a door to speak about her mental health issues (WFWF) and her longing to be a mother.. in a sense I think if you look at songs like nectar of the gods and dealer it could hint at some drug issues and nectar of the gods could even draw on the guy mentioned in fingertips.. who knows.. I think it was an unpolished version of ocean blvd.. she wanted to hit back and say “this is what I’ve gone through, this is why I’m the way I am and this is how I feel”, but it was done resentfully so it was unpolished and didn’t hit the mark the way it should of. I think ocean blvd seems to have come from a place of reflection and acceptance of herself and her experiences and so she’s been able to really beautifully put it all together
