So true, chopping parts of songs to make them shorter and trying to push formulated song structures… so boring Nowadays pop songs sound more like interludes, not cute! But if the information we’ve got is correct, most of the songs teased are more than 4 minutes so I’m hopeful

For me probably her most cohesive proyect is Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Pets… then maybe Younger Now… but at this point it’s kind of her brand to release messy albums Maybe the EP sounded cohesive but the final product, judging by the outtakes, was all over the place (Victoria, Naked, Slide Away, Cold Blooded, American Dream). those songs are great in their own but don’t make much sense together

kind of… even if we didn’t have the leaks to compare still a horrible song but well, hopping the rest of the album slaps still! The Void kind of raised my expectations

you are right, with her old approach it could have been a good social commentary, but after Orange Juice… I doubt it I mean… since it came out it has been very catchy to me… I didn’t get the hate it got I know the lyrics aren’t something special but come on… not everything has to be profound and transcendental

Maybe if she rewrote it and titled it Class Fight I could see that…

her angry break up songs are the best… also when shows that dark sarcastic humor like she does in Dear Porcupines or Rotten Milk! I would love to see more of that from her but I think she has left that far behind for the more… ethereal aproach

I will admit its not very a typical Melanie song, and the lyrics remind me a lot of Pacify Her but it’s too catchy! people saying it was a pitched song for Charli XCX which is a very strange thing

I won’t count MM3 leaked cause they may make it to que album so from the rest… I would say Arts & Craft, Run, Seesaw, Gluestick and Bombs on Monday Morning (her vocals there slap) I will admit I bop to AK47 quite a lot unironically

Mi fear is a bunch of songs that have nothing to do with each other thrown together for the sake of “making an album”… if that’s the case I would have preferred if she just released Problematique as it is to stream even if it has leaked (I would definitely stream that). And if not, another completely different album with another sound

Well… don’t think she’s at loss there… if you check her AOTY page most of the critics give her really bad scores, even for Crybaby which, until now, it’s her best effort (in my opinion it deserved better critic wise). Pretty sure they hate her for some reason I don’t know, they don’t seem to appreciate even her genius moments Also those saying this snippet is better than anything in K-12… that’s a stretch u guys… Nurces Office, Show and Tell, Drama Club, Lunchbox Friends, Detention, Teachers Pet and HSS are far superior to… this and that taking to count K-12 is as bad as it gets lyrically This Spider Song being the shortest of the bunch at least sounds like a win

I honestly wouldn’t be mad if she discarded the whole Problematique era and released brand new material for the new album! Je Tadore, YTTC and Born Again are good but we already have them… I prefer something I haven’t already heard and maybe she could experiment more or change the theme

How in the world has she decided to include this horrendous piece of crap in the album leaving so much potential out I can’t cope with that corny ass melody, shitty lyrics and basic production… Can’t wait till she releases it to replace track 6 with another song her choices are getting really cuestionable… also, where is the tracklist? I Don’t know how I feel about it… this sounds like the record will be very tame and with no cohesion… sad to see she has dropped the Rock act this soon… cause it suited her so much! And with this exposure she is getting it could make it work (pretty sure PH didn’t do as good because of promotion) still excited to see what comes next! As predicted Muddy Feet sounds like a mess, but the snipped was great so I’m conflicted
