Ur right, to me it sounds good but the rest of the songs so far sound a little more… polished, so I don’t know how it will disrupt the whole vibe… if she wanted to go garageband she could have gone all the way and make the whole record that way, but I don’t see Void and TV side by side for example… sounds like they belong in two different albums!

Once she has started producing herself she might start recording her Music Videos with a camera and a tripod at home and editing with moviemaker im joking… but if anything we know miss Melanie can by a little stubborn and control freak so I wouldn’t be surprised if she starts doing all by herself from now on which can go both ways… I think it’s a valid concern

I wouldn’t complain if this its the first song honestly, but I have a feeling it may be Death… just for the “story’s” sake and to go in chronological order… by the snippet I wouldn’t say it’s a bad choice either! Sounds dope! At this point any single she drops, I’ll take it… but please not a K-12 situation again

Yeah, without doubt this is the best snippet so far, that said, these visuals make me afraid for the film/music videos… they seem really cheap. I know she was going for a spooky thing but still… the song sounds great and I’m happy she produced herself, we love a self made queen (Grimes, Marina, Madonna, Mariah…) but still I prefer the chorus to the verses

well… maybe it isn’t the only reason but surely it doesn’t help… of course her vocal delivery is getting worse because her technique is not quite right! I’ve always found her voice really cool but maybe more quiet than other vocalist and singing live u can tell she pushes it too much! That said, smoking won’t help her cause at all, I’ve seen this a lot I was thinking the same, something about the melody reminds me of the version we already have, I don’t know How is the catholic line cringey? The thing is I don’t see an album where Brrr (Cold) and Je’ Tadore or Revelation are even in the same tracklist… maybe they have reworked or changed the production… guess we’ll have to wait till the album is announced

Its not that much her but her management team… but her single choices are very strange and really not cohesive… I’m not saying it’s bad, but has little to do with the other singles she has put out or even anything in Problematique, from which she will include some songs in the album… To me sounds more like a early career song and it’s an odd choice to push by the label

The album comes up in a week and we only know 1 song (and You for the fans who follow her life performances)… Im getting sick of Flowers already and it isn’t even her strongest lead! It’s a boring time to be her fan honestly… and it shouldn’t

that’s the truuuuth! With K-12, if she only had a co-director and a team of writers with her I think we could have had a great movie… something Tim Burton! Instead we had to put out with that insufferable piece of crap! I usually don’t like to talk shit about something when it obviously took her so much time and work but… that movie has literally no redeeming cualities at all and I’m surprised no one around her is trying to convince her otherwise… like it’s so freaking bad it’s painful to watch, I cringe so hard with the acting skills, the multiple plot holes, stupid dialogues… also don’t get me started with that superpower X-men shit! It makes 0 sense and takes away any kind of excitement when she uses her “powers” to resolve literally anything, like all the music videos finish with her or her friends doing that Carrie crap to get away of any situation… but I won’t mention all the things wrong with the movie cause that would take forever! the only thing good about its some of the visuals, period. Like the concept in some parts had potential like in Class Fight, SS, S&T or Nurses Office (until that portal thing happened?? What was that about??) Feels like a label gave millions to a 7 year old to make a movie about whatever comes out of her ass! Like the dialogues and plot literally feel like something a toddler would make… This time around I don’t see how it’s gonna be different… I mean, If I was in the label I would make the most to talk her out of it… making a music Video for each song is already a great effort from the label to support an artist (most singers don’t have that faith put in them, let alone in their debut album), she should feel lucky. Also releasing a music video for each song little by little its a great way to mantain the hype of the era even once the album has dropped… in my opinion it’s the reason why lots of us were hooked to the CB era… I remember waiting for the next video to drop with such excitement! With K-12 that didn’t happen, she dropped everything and dissapeared, I got bored so quickly!! miss Melanie did the things right in her first era the proceeded to fuck everything up for the sophomore album
