Good points!, Yes its is slow thruout, give it a few weeks/months of listening too, we'll still love it I'm sure, but if it lacks some more uptempo stuff (variety), that will come thru if you stop listening to the album in full only a few weeks from now..i'm wondering what a concert would be like as far as mixing up the older stuff with HM songs.. it will be super exciting to see, the next tours songlist (if she tours..) should start a thread- next years setlist.

Hey Vertigo, just curious, do you like HM better than Lana's previous albums? the same but different? and yes, who gives a fuck about what any writer, critic, fan, stan, or really anyone says about her, or any other artist for that matter. I long since give no fucks about what anyone thinks about the music i like.

funny how it is with styles and sounds, when you really love an artists album, and then the subsequent albums change alot.. it can really change peoples opinions alot. i went thru this with other bands before. What it usually does, is loses some fans, and then gains new fans. As long as the balance is always there, and the scale don't tip over too much, everything should be ok.. Thats why its good to be able to be open minded enough musically to appreciate different directions an artists may go. but sometimes its tough for many people to do once they have engrained in their mind their fav to be a certain way. my 2 sense.. ONE MORE DAY to go!!! LMFAO.. For anyone that is still waiting for the release with any excitement left.

Holy Fuck, Incredible. i'm getting the same feelings I had with Lana's first few live concert viewings.. My Fuck.. Ok- You all need to see the Youtube vids of Halsey live. (Vevo Lift live). Gasoline Live, Roman Holiday, Is There Somewhere, a few others.. then check Gasoline live youtube clip from a recent show few weeks ago.. Fuckin Hurricane she is.. Fans are going crazy. absolutey crazy. Please play loud with good picture and sound to get the real feel of Halsey's energy. Lana and Halsey are my favorites right now. (Taylor wildest dreams awesome too tho..)

yes, listening to the music.. I had Halsey cranked up on my hi watt home sound system the other day, with Drive initially, and the sounds you can hear, Ashleys voice in the verses, I could not believe how excellent the sound was. Shes developed (with the help of her great producers) a masterpiece sound on this album. She sounds like no one else. Y'all should try to sit in a room with a powerful sound system and listen. (like a system that sounds like concert PA from front of house) I wonder what the 2nd album that she is already working on, going to sound like..

Thats OK, everyone likes different stuff.. this is really very different from her previous albums. But yes, i find some songs are often real 'grow on you' kinda songs..flipside of that is, sometimes a song you really love initially, flames out very fast too LMFAO.. time will tell.

Lana is likely happier 'Because' of the way she can be in her career.. which is great, but i highly doubt she wants to start doing performances all over the place and promo all the time. LOL.. that wouldnt be liz anymore..Im just happy for a great slow album to pick up on friday.

Halsey has such a powerful vibe for me right now.. been listening to Gasoline, Drive, Roman Candle, Hurricane, Ghost- all incredible songs.. completely blown away with her new debut album. This girl has a hell of a presence. she is apparently working on her 2nd album as well, in addition to the mad touring schedule.. i mentioned this months ago- Halsey is gonna get huge.. already the levels she has attained are insane.. Ashley deserves every bit of it. Proud of her.

hey y'all, i just watched a super cool 18 minute (should have been longer), interview on youtube. Halsey interviewed by Zane at Beats 1, - 2 weeks ago. great interview! Badlands number 2! on billboard top 200 albums as of right now. (1 week).

listening to DRIVE again- with a incredible powerful home sound stereo system, and cranked the fuck up.. all the neighbors hearing this right now LMFAO.. the production on DRIVE and HURRICANE are both amazing. to say the least. awesome vibe. I really dont know how SOME fans of Lana or anyone else, can't see Halsey as a incredible artist. I'd sign her in a heartbeat.

HALSEY IS FUCKING AWESOME, AWESOME AWESOME IN THIS.. sheds a very different sound/vibe to the regular version from the album.. incredibly emotive and definately sadder then the album version. (Ghost- 1 mic- 1 take.) Check out her elle magazine interview. Very interesting girl. She has me watching her..

yes i see that now, like 6 weeks ago?.. who knows maybe you're right, maybe he left to pursue his ideas. I guess with Lana's not too busy schedule, he could probably still do both.. (not like he's on the road for 8 months a year..)

I really loved Blakes actual guitar playing over the years with the live shows.. he is awesome.

Blake has been a huge part of the past few eras, huge. but yes, with her taking a somewhat different direction now, he is kinda pushed off to the side.. im sure he may have his own creative visions of what he would like to be doing, will be interesting to see how his role in the band will evolve. perhaps he'll switch guitar to flute.

maybe Franz or Franca pulled some strings..

I'm curious to see how HM will do in the big picture. Yes we may all think its a masterpiece record, and not care about how its recieved, but ima still curious to see how it will do compared to the previous albums.. time will tell i guess..

I don't see Lana wanting to do a World tour ANYTIME soon, altho, others may want her to do so.. I'd be pretty surprised to see those dates released. This isn't 2012-2013 anymore.. but everyone can hope.

yes, things get old fast, expecially with the GP. i think expecially with things being somewhat more USA focused in the past year, alot of the rest of the world, have moved on to other flavours of the month..week..day.. whatever.. (except her hardcore fans) i still think there are a shit ton of new artists, or fairly recent ones, that have alot of exposure right now. People have alot to listen too, and many just turn a radio on in a car, or whatever, and thats their music listening experience. me personally, when i love someone, i'll love them forever..(me luv you long time) LOL.. so dont really give a fuck, what the rest of the world think about anything to be honest.
