I can see the album being delayed past September but I really do think that this album is going to be released. With her current love of country and the fact that she decided to announce it in a more professional space compared to just on IG I think Lasso will definitely be LDR10. Definitely a career-defining moment to have your tenth album be a completely new genre.

I first saw her live when she opened for Ray LaMontagne and it was just her playing with a guitar, no band or anything. I remember being stunned by her voice and the crowd was silent and enamored. I went to her New Year’s Eve Circus Spectatular in 2022 and it was one of the best shows of my life. She’s amazing live regardless but the theatrics of all the performers she brought on stage was amazing.

Sierra Ferrell is a singer/songwriter/musician from Charleston, West Virginia. She combines elements of folk, country, jazz, bluegrass, Americana, and Latin sounds in her music. She released her album Long Time Coming in 2021 and is set to release her next album Trail of Flowers on March 22, 2024. Some of her most well-known songs include In Dreams, The Sea, Bells of Every Chapel, Why’d Ya Do It, and Jeremiah. She also was featured on the song “Holly Roller” with Zach Bryan in 2023 which has gained immense popularity. Just thought I would start a topic to shed light on the amazing artist that she is especially since Lana is going the country route.

Taste! I’m a huge Sierra Ferrell fan and I really hope she’s on the studio version of Prettiest Girl in Country Music at least. She’s on the precipice of taking over the folk/country scene. I urge everyone to listen to her album Long Time Coming. It’s a great mix of folk/country and a few other sub genres. I think if Lana goes a similar route everyone would be pleased.

My question is who will be the first one banned due to this pre-release thread

I was not expecting LDR10 to come this soon but I’m so excited! Let the pre-release festivities begin! Giddy up, y’all!

I don’t think we should let two anonymous voters who are not representative of the Academy as a whole dampen our spirits. Stay positive my friends -

I’m sure he didn’t vote for Jon Batiste when he won Album of the Year in 2022 either Idk I’m not gonna pay any mind to some random dude who decided to share his votes and shitty opinions. Lana will be getting her Grammys this weekend -

https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZPR3NqGQ3/ Has anyone seen this? Mark Naison, one of Lana’s professors at Fordham, has a picture of Lana above the seat she sat when she took his class! He says she performed in that seat too The course was Rock & Roll to Hip Hop. Apologies if this is common knowledge that I missed lol -

EVERYONE IS ON THE BANDWAGON OF LANA WINNING THREE GRAMMYS LET’S GO!!!!!! -
Love how she’s listening to the radio in her car since not a lot of people do that nowadays I wonder what station she chose Edit: she was just watching the Niners game. Dedicated fan for real

I’m so happy that she’s updating us with her plans about making new music rather than leaving us in the dark. I enjoy the mystery of what the next album will sound like especially since she’s mostly been staying in Nashville

I don’t think Taylor is gonna win Album of the Year. She is tied in the category with three wins with Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon, and Stevie Wonder. I doubt the Academy will break the tie with Midnights given that Taylor will likely keep producing more albums that are deserving of major Grammy awards. I think it’s truly between Lana, SZA, and maybe Jon Batiste. -

YOU ARE 100% CORRECT THIS IS WHAT I’VE BEEN SAYING FOR WEEKS. I believe it even more now that you had a dream about it When she wins three you guys can thank @Ocean Boulevard and I for our accurate predictions -

I think this is honestly the best year for Lana to be nominated for this many Grammys. A lot of the music released in 2023 was mediocre in comparison to Lana’s work on Ocean Blvd and especially A&W. Just have to hope the Academy recognizes her talent and impact this year, which I believe they will. -

I’m sorry but how am I supposed to believe Billboard’s predictions when their “analysis” is based off of a reporter asking three of their coworkers what they think will win. “Super-smart and plugged in” does not mean you are well-qualified to make Grammy predictions Anyways Lana will be winning at least 3 Grammys -
Maybe she’s aware that one of her exes has been stalking her on ig and it’s trying to make an obvious point lmao Could very well be that she just loves the quote which is more likely

Which Lana era is your current favorite?
Black to Blue replied to shadesofblue's topic in Lana Thoughts
When I first read the title I thought you meant what Lana era am I in in my real life. I kinda feel like I’m in my Lust for Life era honestly (out of the black and into the blue specifically) Music-wise I’ve been listening to a ton of unreleased from 2009-2014 and COTCC. -
I mean not necessarily. Jon Batiste doesn’t have that loyal of a fan base or is that popular and has still won multiple times. He’s a Grammy darling but still. Often the most popular songs don’t win at the Grammys and a wild card nominee takes it home. I think Lana will win at least one award. She has an even better chance with Jack being a main producer of the album/A&W specifically since he’s loved by the Academy.
