New songs after releasing a 20 track album is crazy Imo I hope it's a flipped version of the album- it'd be cool to have a different rendition of some of the tracks (saying this while I haven't even listened to leaks ) Kinda pissed she's making me stay up even more bc I know I'll be a exhausted wreck tmr

ranking what it could likely be 1. eras/ttpd doc (want this so bad) 2. ttpd movie? (i see the vision, but taylor's directing skills are... questionable) 3. extra songs/deluxe ep (always here for more music, but 16 songs plus 4 bonus tracks is more than enough) 4. book/poetry collection (i guess it makes sense, but idk i'm not THAT interested- ill buy it tho) 5. rep tv (i really want to wait for this, i'd rather have ttpd have its moment for a lil bit)

i'm happy with 5 aaron tracks, it's better than nothing tbh. jack can slay sometimes, depending on the genre. with aaron more present on the creds, i think it might not be entirely pop/synth-pop. so excited for this

this rollout is... torturous, to say the least. more than 2 months since the announcement and all we've gotten is the tracklist, some variants, and a few lyrics. in a certain way, i guess it generates hype, but it's also kind of exhausting. i wish she announced the album closer to the release date tbh. she probably had smth planned for the tracklist reveal, especially w those insane titles. it's a shame some tiktok mf leaked it

i don't know how i feel about the album title being in all caps- but maybe that's an indication it'll be angry (not rock tho, i've given up on that hope ) 7 explicit songs... i get anxious whenever she's explicit bc she has a reputation of being cringey with swears- but let's hope she slays and serves songwriting

what a fantastic album!! i needed to sit with it for a lil bit, but after listening to it non-stop, i think it's absolutely gorgeous. it reminds me of Sufjan Steven's "Javelin", I love the springtimey and forestey vibes. In a way, it also reminds me of Solar Power (i love SP)- in a way that it really encapsulates a season and it's best experienced in nature. It really inspires me to be more in touch with the natural world. My favorite tracks are: Cardinal, Deeper Well, Too Good To Be True, Dinner With Friends, The Architect, Heart Of The Woods, and Lonely Millionaire. I love the other songs too but these really hit! Can't wait to get the album on vinyl.

My heart races when I think about the moment where I can press play on the album, and be enchanted by the music. I've been replaying that Henry snippet ever since it came out, and it's just so good, I need the full song so bad September feels so far away from now, but I'm glad there's other artists that are releasing this year so I can distract myself w that. Lasso is gonna be a classique, I can just feel it!
