Agreed. It's painful to have people distort your words, trying to convey ideas that weren't even there in the first place... And for a public person like Lana, I think things become even more murky, because she has thousands of millions of people paint her as a villain when she's exposing so many delicate themes in her lyrics. And the subject of said themes are her own life experiences. Ngl I think if I were in her place I'd go insane, I hate people trying to distort my words and my experiences. This reminds me of Paradise Is Very Fragile, when she writes: "My friends tell me to stop calling 911 on the culture, but it's either that or I 5150 myself". I know what you mean, Lana.

Jokes aside, what caught my attention in her comment was: "...most of these people were my friends that's why I felt safe listing them". I wonder if certain people she mentioned in her letter felt or feel the same about her.

I’m an occasional Taylor Swift listener. I started listening to TTPD today. And it’s going to take a few days or maybe weeks for me to get through the whole album (I’m listening to The Anthology version). I’d rather take things slow and appreciate the album and its lyrics. However, I’m mind blown and slightly scared at how relatable Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me? was to me. It felt like she wrote this one for me, especially. I loved it.
