I don’t want to put pressure but if you are in a swing state, the rest of the country is relying on you. There are plenty of things at stake not only the rest of our country, but other countries as well. but wouldn’t not voting also be betraying the women in your life? Or other minority groups that would be effected by trump winning again?

tough being right behind A&W should be a crime. if tough passes it... A&W is one of, if not, her best songs lyrically. Tough is way more radio friendly (unless you cut out the first half of A&W) so the amount of streaming makes sense. stream numbers are just numbers at the end of the day, but it's a shame some of her best music gets overlooked

I agree. Obviously don’t love Kamala’s stance and I understand people’s frustration with it, but there’s a reason Israel wants Trump to win. It won’t be any better than Kamala and will make things infinitely worse. There are many other things at stake people need to think about like women’s rights to healthcare for example. I don’t think it’s fair to our country and not vote just because of one issue The election reminds me of the trolley moral dilemma. Would you rather save one person or 5 people from getting run over by a train. Either option you pick someone isn’t going to make it, but saving 5 is better than one. Just something to think about

I like buying video games in physical copies rather than digitally as well! I only have a few physical on my switch, but I still have some old ones from my DS and gameboy advanced (obviously digital didn't exist back then though). the past year I started collecting vinyl and it's been fun! I love looking at the artwork inside and having a copy for myself is just fun. My dad was really big into collecting CDs when I was growing up, but I've been thinking of starting a collection as well. they're a lot cheaper & easier to take care/store compared to vinyl. you should!! when I was in high school, my first car was pretty old so it didn't have bluetooth. I made a few of my own CD mixtapes idk where they went but it was a lot of Tumblr era songs. I remember I had some lana and her unreleased on there I need to find them. they're nice to have though, I made a couple for my friends back then too <3 you should deff try it out!

My other post was mainly in response about the genocide since it’s big reason why they don’t want to vote for Kamala. Obviously it’s something to think about and keep in mind, but at the same time I agree there’s tons of other issues at stake in our own country. Not to say the genocide isn’t important, but I don’t think that should be the only reason someone decides to not vote. The decisions we make here impact the rest of the world so it is something to think about. I don’t want to sound selfish, but there’s many issues in the USA we need to address and prioritize. I don’t agree with Kamala’s stance in the genocide, but there’s other topics I do agree with like being pro choice. Way more views of hers I agree with vs trump’s stances so it’s an obvious pick for me. If she loses, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was the reason she lost so it’s unfortunate. I see both perspectives of people on the left and wanting to make a statement but people also need to be realistic here we have two choices and need to think about our own issues in the USA. This is one of if not the most important election ever in our country so this is not the right time to vote for someone who doesn’t have a chance or choose to not vote. Especially if you’re in a swing state it is crucial, decisions trump makes can have an impact for many years in the future.

I watch a lot of true crime! I'm kinda picky when finding different documentaries/youtubers/podcasts/etc. because it's hard finding one's that have the right intentions and treat victims stories with respect. Some of my favs are: crime junkie podcast prob the first true crime podcast I started listening to. They're on Spotify, Apple Music, and just started posting on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@CrimeJunkie/videos. They have other podcasts under the same network now too called audiochuck. It's by two woman who have been besties since childhood/birth. I find them to be easy to follow. Some podcasts are too monotone which makes it hard for me to pay attention or others get off topic too much which seems disrespectful and inappropriate imo. mile higher podcast/YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/@MileHigher it's this couple who discusses different cases but also some conspiracy theory things and just interesting stories. I like how they break things down and the wife Kendall has her own channel and makes other true crime vids I like too. They analyze the body language and psychology using footage of police cams and interrogations mostly. unsolved mysteries there's a new version of the show on Netflix and theres also an older version of the show that has a bunch of seasons. I think my favorite cases to learn more about are unsolved/missing person/mysterious deaths so this show has a lot of interesting episodes. They can dramatize things/leave out a lot of other details, so sometimes I look for other podcasts/videos that dig deeper into the case.

it's been interesting seeing a few of these politicians go on podcasts this year. Trump is a charismatic person which is a big reason he has such a loyal fanbase so going on these podcasts is a great move for him (not that he made much sense) People forget what he actually stands for and these podcasts humanize him which is concerning to me. He loves to yap and claim all these things but people forget what he would actually do as a president vs what he says he will do. I completely understand your dilemma. it's hard voting for someone you don't stand for. I think ultimately you are the only one who knows who you should vote for. I don't think most people on the left would pick Kamala if they could choose anyone to run as the Democratic Nominee. In this election & at this point, a third party is not going to win and that's just the reality. It is a Trump vs not Trump election, once again. I know a lot of people in a similar situation as you, they absolutely hate trump but also don't really like Kamala mostly due to her stances on Israel/Palestine. Since I'm in California, a lot of people don't think their votes matter since it will always end up being blue, but I still think it's important to vote on a state/local level. Kamala wouldn't be my first choice if it were up to me, but I think almost any candidate in the Democratic Party is exponentially better than Trump even if I don't really like them. I get how morally it is hard to choose between the two especially considering both of their stances on the genocide in Palestine. Since we are forced to choose between the two, I don't believe Trump would handle the genocide any better than Kamala. There's a reason Netanyahu wants Trump to win so that's important to keep in mind when voting. Ultimately, one day it would be nice to have more choices than dems vs republicans on the ballot that actually have a chance at becoming president. I do think you should vote third party, dem, or whatever just because I think local and state topics are also just as important because they directly impact you and your community. If you do vote third party, I could see how that sends a message to our country. Lots of people are fed up with the 2 party system. I just don't believe this election is the right time to do that since we have so much at stake at the moment. Our nation needs to push for these 3rd party nominees earlier in the election and by that I mean 2025-early 2027 if people want them to have any chance at winning. Pushing for 3rd party candidates months/weeks before an election is next to impossible. If I could tell any voter who doesn't know who they want to vote for this election specifically, my best advice is: think where your vote is going and where it isn't going. It's up to you at the end of the day
