I’m so curious to see which direction this album goes. I have so many questions. Id imagine they’re the same project just reworked, but maybe lasso was supposed to have that dark southern gothic vibe originally. TRPWS is not giving southern gothic whatsoever imo at least not from the Henry pic but it could also just be Lana’s way of defining genres so.. Her looks the past year or two have been more dark UV southern gothic while the Henry come on and album cover are basically the opposite. Henry & album cover are giving more romantic - vintage - glamour - light - type of a vibe. I’ve seen others mention this but it has the vibe of a housewife waiting for her husband to come back from war. The album cover reminds me of a random framed photo you’d find at an antique shop. I think it’s pretty obvious her marriage impacted this shift. Maybe since she’s been working on this album on the side for so long, some of the songs didn’t feel relevant anymore and she wanted to make it into something more present.

oh i don't consider those songs straight acoustic either. i meant i like acoustics and those songs since they have more guitar compared to others on NFR. i don't expect henry to have any psychedelic surf rock vibes like those two, but I don't mind her releasing a ballard with guitar as a single. we've had a lot of piano recently, so some more guitar would be a nice change.

VB and mariners are some of my personal fav lana songs. I love acoustic and I love the Henry snippet idc if people think it's boring beggars can't be choosers

So apparently mercury AND Venus are in retrograde rn. Mercury ends April 7th and Venus ends April 12th. Also there’s a new moon and partial eclipse on March 29th which symbolizes change and new beginnings. Maybe April 18th Henry will finally come it’s one week before stagecoach too. Or my other guess is she’ll just debut it at stagecoach
