    Line vs. Line

You got your money now, you got your legacy Let's leave the world for the ones who change everything Vs Anyone can start again Not through love, but through revenge Through the fire, we're born again Peace by vengeance brings the end
  2. Wait didn't this happen before Ocean Blvd announcement as well?
  3. Tbh "buy her tonight" makes more sense than "audiotune lies" in the context of the song
  4. 5th time on repeat right now probably my most listened song this month, the lyrics hit home
  5. This is so wild and I'm so happy for you that you won the contest! You deserve it! That's a once in a lifetime opportunity, a moment to be cherished forever! The contest itself was a super awesome idea and it's amazing that the event is part of a fundraiser charity! Sending lots of love, this is just incredible! Also can we talk about how gorgeous you look and that dress is stunning as well, suits you beautifully!
  6. Long story short: being delulu is the solulu
  7. Lasso has 4 letters. September is the 9th month of the year. The sentence "Music business is going gone country. We are going country" has 10 words and it contains 38 letters. She announced that in February, the 2nd of the year. What do these numbers mean? At the time of the announcement, Lana Del Rey was 38 years old. 10 years ago, she released her 2nd major-label studio album Ultraviolence. But what was Lana's 4th major-label studio album? Lust For Life. Which album had collaborations with rappers? Lust For Life (ASAP Rocky) and Ocean Blvd (Tommy Genesis). Which album will also have a track with a rapper? Lasso (Quovo for Tough). Lasso is a follow-up to her 9th studio album Did You Know That There's A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd? which is going to be her 10th album. It all adds up, the Lasso is coming EDIT: OMFG I'M SO STUPID LASSO HAS 5 LETTERS WHICH MEANS THAT LUST FOR LIFE WAS HER 5TH STUDIO (NOT MAJOR-LABEL) STUDIO ALBUM SO IT STILL ADDS UP, LASSO WILL BE RELEASED IN SEPTEMBER!!!!!!
  8. Mark my words. Neil Krug will post an outtake from UV era!
  9. Omfg I love it, it's gorgeous! Amazing work!
  10. What are the chances she'll ever drop something on her birthday
  11. She's been following him longer tho, I think she's been collabing w those other country musicians but who knows. Just spaculating
  12. She has followed so many country musicians since like this January? I wonder if she's collaborating with them either feature or songwriting/production wise. She also followed Sony Music Nashville earlier this year
  13. I'M WEAK READING ALL THESE THIS IS SO FUNNY I can also understand why they misheard these lyrics like that, these are the most incomprehensible parts and now I can't really unhear it lol
  14. There's one this I have noticed about Diet Mountain Dew demo lyrics recently and now I'm kinda confused, is it: "Scary, my God, you're divine!" - this is the one I had always thought the lyric was, meaning that "omg, how scary that you're divine!" Or is it: "Scary? My God, you're divine!" - that's what I have seen most fans quote as and I only just noticed that recently, meaning that "omg, you're not scary, you're divine!"
  15. I probably would've screamed the same if I was there as well, this concert is like a mega experience for a lifetime
  16. Oh, she looks so beautiful! And agreed, this photo has very Poland June 2016 vibes!
  17. There this important difference between her this year's shows in the States and in Europe - her microphone in this year's Europe shows (Italy, Spain, Portugal) is miles better than the ones in Coachella and Alabama. It's so much clearer and you can actually hear her vocals so so much better. During the Coachella period, I saw so many comments saying that "she can't sing" or "she's a shitty performer" but she fucking can sing, it was the microphone quality's fault. It's a fact that her vocals have got better and better with each year because she has performed more and more live shows and she has done that a lot in open air festivals with mass crowds but less in venues with good acoustics. Open air festivals have helped her to practise her vocals a lot better, with testing the ranges and such. Last year her vocals were amazing as well but she was just getting warmed up to it and had more time practising it, considering that she hadn't done any live shows for 3 years because of the pandemic. This year she has been better than last year, especially in those European shows where she was incredible! This was vocally one of her best shows, she carried all the songs on the setlist perfectly and probably the main reason why the setlist has been same-y for the last 5 years is that she is vocally most used singing to these songs and it has helped her a lot improving vocals which is another reason that most of the songs there are ballads. Also these are the songs she and her dancers have put most effort on the choreography as well - they have practied these songs for over a year now and I think it would take a lot of time to practise an extra choreo for a new song. And hate the dancers and background vocalists or not, I love them because they help Lana a lot with her confidence and I think they suit especially for the festivals because it makes the show a lot more theatrical and campier, like more The Great Gatsby party like! This show was her best one this year, super incredible, each song I was like "Omfg! The vocals!" Her vocals were insanely amazing, like truly brilliant, her vocals really helped these songs on the setlist shine a lot, made them sound really special. So I might even agree with those people who said that if you're at the show present and see her perform, you will forget the setlist and enjoy her performance through the show. She also looked beautiful, even though it's her fourth show with the same outfit. She must really love that dress a lot and it's a gorgeous dress as well, it's like that short white dress or that long black dress she wore a lot last year on tour. Her big beauty queen style hair and make-up was stunning as well, loved Anna's and Etienne's job for this! A side note: I had always wanted Young And Beautiful to be the ending song and I'm glad that it is, I know that Off To The Races or Venice Bitch or Ocean Blvd or Video Games are very huge, free and epic but there's something cinematic about Young & Beautiful that feels like a ending credits to a very epic but beautiful movie and with all the 1920s jazz endings she has done lately leaves the crowd in a fever dreamish feeling - bit surreal, bit melancholic, bit happy, bit confused, but also impressed. Like an epic movie. But I need West Coast - Dan Heath's orchestral version to be the intro like in 2019 and then the rest of the songs should be the UV version, like I had also always envisioned before because it puts an epic start to a Lana show that feels so cinematic and epic with all the orchestra but then goes on to full wild mode with the guitars and drums and the dancers to set off a true Lana show in Summer. But that's just my opinion though!
  18. I love NFR song but Mariners Apartment Complex had the chance to be one of the best openers ever especially with the cover art boat reference BUT I'm still glad that NFR is the opener because it gave us the best transition from LFL era to NFR era - Get Free to NFR title track with the blue and sea references and I think it's one of her best moments in her career!
