I loved the music video for Fortnight! Absolutely beautiful, Taylor's and Post Malone's chemistry was crazy good! I also loved the cameos of the Dead Poets Society actors Ethan Hawke and Josh Charles! 🩶

True, now when I think about it, the hair was probably like that because of the black pretty veil! -

The vocals were definitely better this show with the microphone but I kind of loved the last week's show more because of the Billie song with Video Games and Jealous Girl intro. I think that the black outfit looked good on her (very Lasso!) but I loved the blue dresses more because they were so fairytale-y + the glamorous hair! I really loved Young & Beautiful performance from this show, it was so cute and the way how she said thank you! 🥹 -

That's actually sad if they have a feud or something because they made beautiful songs together and I'd be sad if Let The Light In will never be performed live -

I kinda luved first show more than this but this was cool as well. Did she sing less songs there? -
Can't wait for the first TTDP post-release Eras Tour show! I wonder if TTDP and The Anthology are smashed into one or are separate acts 🤔
-
It think after the end of Eras tour and TVs I think she will take a 1 year break and maybe settle on that movie/TV show script she talked about few years ago

i want her to enter the show with boom like that with the motorcycle guys -
honestly, after listening to 'so long london', i just wanted to stop listening to the album because my heart shattered to pieces. i loved this song so much but lyrically it just hits, especially that part. it's just pure melancholia.

Honeymoon - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll

I want a person who looks and sounds like Honeymoon -
these new neil krug desert photos remind me of the song called they don't love you for your mind
-
He has always took photos of desert. It's kind of his signature style (besides the psychedelic colors). He did that for Tame Impala as well.
-
I have always loved Neil's nature photos and these are very beautiful as well! But my first thought was that maybe these are in his new photobook, you know, to promote the upcoming book?

What's been soundchecked so far besides Snow Beach -
I finished the standard album. Clara Bow was a beautiful ending for it! 🥲 My favorites so far are Florida!!! (Florence's and Taylor's part were amazing, a perfect and beautiful collab!), So Long London, But Daddy I Love Him, I Can Fix Him and Clara Bow. Since the album is very cohesive, it needs many relistens because I am not really good at remembering songs after first listens, especially when they're cohesive. It's a very intensive album as well and by that I mean lyrically. It definitely needs many re-reads as well! I'll listen to The Anthology next week because right now I am very overwhelmed (it's not a bad thing because I am always very overwhelmed when my favorites are releasing new albums and when I have to "digest" it emotionally next to other albums I have been used to), today or even tomorrow it would be too much for me now. I did listen to one song a bit, I can't remember but it was folky, I kind of loved it, I'm excited for this. I think it's my 4th favorite now so far. My top three is Reputation, Lover and Folklore/Evermore, I'm emotionally too attached to those albums, so I can't see the ranking change right now. Poets Department is one of her best albums and lyrically her best. It's very intense and complex in a very Taylorish way. Sonically, it's very light and I love it. It does have Jack Antonoff's and Aaron Dessner's signature sound and production handwriting but it didn't bother me that much since the album is very cohesive. It's like Midnights (and Midnights 3 AM songs) meets Folklore/Evermore. The fact I didn't set my expactations high or even that I had no idea what to expect helped a lot to click with this album at first listen, I think. We all found out what happened between her and Matty Healy. He was a shit, wbk. But I never understood the background of her and Joe's break-up. At first I thought that he had a depression and anxiety, then I thought he didn't want to marry her, then I thought he cheated her? I just didn't understand at all, can someone explain that to me? Taylor did like a fanpage's post on Instagram where there was a meme of a triangle and how Joe and Matty Healy are the "low tier exes" lmao
-
We'll see. I don't think that this album has big chance to win something at the Grammys because there are a lot of albums released this year which are very acclaimed
-
Because the song is allegedly about Kim Kardashian
-
I think that so far TTDP has been cohesive. Midnights was not cohesive imo.
-
I hate how this album needs digesting lyrically I'm not smart enough to understand all of the lyrics at first listen lol
