  1. Still my favorite poem of hers I think it's her best one too, it's such a tragedy what happened to Behind The Iron Gates

    MARINA (and The Diamonds)

This is actually funny because it somehow sounds so real, AI is getting really scary (and I can definitely see that if Marina continues to write her societal/political songs/poems, she'll definitely write about AI too)

    NIKI (Zefanya)

I luv her so much. I love Moonchild so much, it's my favorite Niki album. Nicole was amazing too, her best album imo

    NIKI (Zefanya)

  5. All I want is to have an interview with Lana with mega long list of questions by fans about all eras. I just neeeeeeed answers for everything, every detail about the process behind different eras, also Lizzy Grant & May Jailer questions. This is the closest we could get for the world peace. But I also feel like she has forgotten a lot about those things.
  6. It's because they think that all of the songs are controversial thematically like Put Me In The Movie (which is a great song but a very sad one) and this TikTok generation tries to be (fake) woke as hell. Also I think that most newer fans do not know that AKA exists and here's great proof, from the comments, they start panicking when they see the album written as RAY not Rey ⬇️ https://www.instagram.com/reel/CsMKisEgsvx/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== It's really shocking because when I became a stan, I started reading her whole biography including her Lizzy era and I instantly delved into AKA and other Lizzy songs. I was really young then too, in my early teen years, I came home from school and I instantly learned new things about Lizzy then, it was so interesting. It was something so fascinating, like a part of history that wasn't talked about enough. Lizzy era is still one of my favorites and I think that AKA is one of her best albums.
  7. No drama here please again, I love you all but we have to end this Dan Auerbach discussion, we're in Honeymoon thread afterall

    Olivia Rodrigo

It was kinda boring but it wasn't bad at all, I loved the piano on the second part of the song and the pop rockish or some kind of hysteric melody before the bridge. Lyrics were kind of okay for me, they weren't bad but she has written better lyrics. Even if it was boring for some people, it doesn't mean that we have to bash her artistry, she's only 20 and she has room to grow. She has that potential and she'll learn how to use it in a best way possible.
  9. My first CD was Fergie's The Dutchess I got it when I was like 6 years old, I was such a big Fergie stan then. Now the CD is probably broken because I played it non-stop then. I really loved the album back then but now I don't rememeber anything about that album, I only remember the famous singles lol I never had a vinyl though
  10. Bold of you to assume that I can rank her most epic songs from each album I can try though but I'll just rank based on my current mood: The epics you chose: 1. The Blackest Day 2. Heroin 3. Off To The Races 4. Cruel World 5. White Dress 6. Venice Bitch 7. A&W 8. Ride 9. Dealer My chosen epics (including Sirens, AKA, Violet Bent Backwards and one leaked unreleased song). I chose the epics based on the impact they have on the album (the iconicness, the power, the most memorable moment in the album, the song being a fan or GP favorite, but not by length) 1. West Coast (this song has every great quality to be an epic song, everything about it is so epic, from the end to the start, from the intro to the outro, just everything) 2. The Blackest Day (the bridge itself is already the most epic thing Lana has written, the song is just so incredible, the melodies create such a great tension and the melodies become only bigger and bigger, by structure lyrically and sonically, it is THE SONG and it's a very perfect song) 3. Heroin (I'd describe that song the same way I described The Blackest Day, I consider this song a sister song or a part 2 to The Blackest Day; this song is so amazing, the storytelling and production is perfect, the build-up is just so insane and beautiful) 4. Video Games (a classic LDR song, created herstory) 5. Fine China (it's also such a classic LDR songs with great metaphors, it's my second favorite unreleased song from her) 6. Sportscruiser (it's even more underrated than people think, she's telling a really great story there, the way she's describing it, it is so engaging) 7. White Dress (I know it's a fan favorite but people don't understand the POWER is it holding, it's so vulnerable yet so powerful) 8. Kill Kill (it was my first favorite unreleased song when I became a LDR stan, it's such a classic Lizzy Grant song, I love it ) 9. Venice Bitch (I think with time I have appreciated the song more and more, it's actually a lot more simpler and carefree song than I used to think, it has a really great nostalgia element to it and the longer and more intense the song gets, the more nostalgic it gets, it's perfect for long summer/the end of summer road trips; I realised how connected I actually was to that song thematically when it was released. But I didn't really pay attention to it because it was released in a very weird time of my life) 10. A&W (this song is so insane and I mean it in a good way, the beginning is so mysterious yet sad, it sounds like a mini documentary and when it gets to the end it just gets more intense and insane, it sounds like a celebration yet the meaning is still sad, the Jimmy part really reminds me of Lizzy Grant; sadly I don't really have great memories with this song, it was a really difficult time for me when this song came out) 11. A Star For Nick (my favorite unreleased song ever from Lana, I just get chills everytime I listen to it, it's the most May Jailer song ever and it describes that era perfectly, it's like an introduction to May Jailer ) 12. Ride (the song is amazing but I don't have really great memories with this song) 13. Dealer (I just have worst memories ever attached to it and because of that it's not really easy for me to listen to that song, even though the song is really great) This is my ranking...I guess. I don't know why I added descriptions and why I wrote such long descriptions but that's who I am... I am weird and the ranking is weird too, a lot of them is ranked by emotions and memories, but I was objevtive in a way that all of the songs are actually very amazing and they are the most epic songs from each albums, but the top 3 of my chosen songs are probably my favorite Lana songs of all-time too.
  11. Did everyone try the chicken? I thought the chicken was lovely? I also think that Honeymoon era and album was lovely too. Very lovely, in fact.
  12. Please everybody calm down and I think this discussion is not Honeymoon related. Peace and happiness to you all

    Emma Louise

Vs Head Vs Heart album has aged very well and it was one of the best albums of 2013 for me. This album is so underrated and it's sad Cages still rips my heart out when I listen to it
  14. Were these lyrics real or just her description of the song?
  15. It would be cool if BTD-Paradise, Banisters and Ocean Blvd had their own threads too but at the same time...RIP LDR Album Process Discussion
  16. This is so cringe and so painful to watch what has happened to this fandom? https://www.instagram.com/reel/CsjltRsoCjR/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== Also, from another post from a Lana fanpage, I found this comment. What are your thoughts? I think they're overreacting.
  17. Stargirl, Prisoner, Lust For Life, Tomorrow Never Came, Beautiful People Beautiful Problems, Summer Bummer, Groupie Love, Candy Necklace, Let The Light In, Paris Texas, Grandfather..., Summer Wine, Riverside, UFB, Lost At Sea, Hollywood Bowl, Snow On The Beach (both although, More Lana Version is better), Woman, Dealer, Thunder (if we count The Last Shadow Puppets in it), Wait For Life, Living With Myself, [and Blue Madonna and God Save Our Young Blood, but I don't listen to these songs anymore because of Børns controversy]. Maybe there are some I forgot but these long list of features are the ones I love the most because these songs are beautiful, and Lana's & the other collaborators' parts in those songs are gorgeous too. I love the lyrics and production in those songs too. I also love songs where she's just vibing and humming/singing background vocals, just carrying the song lyrically (like the old version of Snow On The Beach, Living With Myself, God Savs Our Young Blood).
  18. Since this thread is in the Music topic and not in Lana's Thoughts topic, so I assume, I can share here my favorite intros/first lines of other artists too! Every time I hear the opening lines of Florence + The Machine's How Big How Blue How Beautiful, I just get goosebumps and ascend to heaven: "Between a crucifix and the Hollywood sign, we decided to get hurt"
  19. I love Sirens and I love to discuss about it but I think that mods should merge this thread with Sirens Post Release Thread? Or the Pre-Fame Creative Process Discussion Thread?
  20. I'm pretty sure its their edit because i used google lens and only the user's profile came up, so yeah. It's maybe AI generated too.
  21. Are you sure this is real, it looks like edited idk why

    MARINA (and The Diamonds)

Am I only one who thinks that New America's strings (or synths? or violins which sound like synths?) intro is very similar to Lana's Butterflies Pt 2 strings intro? Those were my first thoughts when I heard that song for the first time when it was released.
