Lol I just posted a status about her. I listened to her album yesterday and I think she's got a lot of potential. I'm glad Grimes is supporting her. Hopefully she's be able to put a new album out with a bigger budget and more resources.

Whatever I'm glad she won something. I think Lana does care about recognition, even if she doesn't care about sales.

Anyone have a complete list of all the magazines Lana has covered that had original photo shoots? I'm not interested in magazines that just reused photos from somewhere else. I'm trying to collect them.

When I read the part about her writing a book, I immediately assumed she was talking about a collection of essays or maybe a memoir. I can't see her writing a novel. Maybe a collection of poems.

I feel like she's just talking about herself. I sometimes try to look at myself the way an outsider would and I feel protective of me too.

Well at least she's been thinking about doing a long video...thinking about it. So probably hasn't started yet. But still. I guess the three M&Gs she did were the tour. Thank god I met her in New York. Would've loved to see a show by her for this era though.

Omg I literally ordered copies of her two other Billboard covers yesterday for my collection. Looks like I'm going to have to order this new one!

First she says she's only seen Lana's Ride video and can't really say if her music is nihilistic, then she says Lana's music is conventional and not that good. Make up your mind, idiot! Kim Gordon is one of those old school feminists that actually spouts a ton of misogynistic shit against women who don't fit her ideal mold. She's probably the type who looks down on women who choose to be housewives.

I wish she would move to Paris for a few months and give us an album influenced by the city. Enough with LA!

Listened to the album in full again today and omg I love it so much. The only two tracks I don't really care for are Terrence Loves You and Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood. I even got into Honeymoon and HBTB again.

She might have a chance to snag one of those album nominations, but she probably won't win, unless the Grammys troll the audience like last year when everyone thought either Beyonce or Sam Smith would win AOTY and they gave it to the nominee everyone thought was just there to fill up a slot. Apparently the favorites for AOTY so far are 1989 (duh), The Beauty Behind the Madness, and To Pimp A Butterfly. So maybe Lana can sneak in, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I'm going to start trying to collect physical copies of all of Lana's magazine covers with original photo shoots. So far I have V Magazine and (when it arrives in the mail) Marfa Journal. I have a long way to go lol.
