He says he has no idea how many songs she has written BUT Ultraviolence was originally a double album (40 songs were written for Ultraviolence that he remembers and said they were all worthy of being on the album. He said a few of the interludes that didn't make the album have been worked into some of the live shows they do)

Can't wait for the tracklist to leak on the 20th anniversary of ultraviolence

We counted 37 or so in total with 7 or so iffy on their inclusion so a range of 30-37

I'm pretty sure based off what pantene said that the song was pretty different in the demo version likely a different bridge too

Oh 100% We know for a fact that some of their songs were considered since Brooklyn baby is on the album. I just think it gets risky bc then we would have to include songs the riverside and summer wine if we include the other barrie songs I think living Legend is the most likely to be included as you stated Songs like Nectar of the Gods and cherry blossoms, i don't think Blake ever would've had a part in those so he likely wouldn't include them

See i still wouldn't include the barrie tracks We know that they recorded a ton of songs that we don't even know about in their sessions, but those sessions were probably for their collab album rather then Ultraviolence itself I would add Living legend that one seems like the only barrie track besides brooklyn baby that wouldve actually been considered, Angels Forever and Hollywood since she has expressed wanting to release that song

@Lindsay Lohan can I ask about my theory for the other side? Pantene claims that no one has it, yet we have the full lyrics. We also know that it appears on an early concept design of the tracklist. Do the lyrics originate from the same concept maybe a lyric booklet or something and that is the only way we know of the song

I think a different session but from around the same time as the picture of the tracklsit we have I do think tropico could've served as a base for this second album but I think after she started working on the tropico movie, titled changed to trans am and and older songs that were never really finished (Elvis, preacher) were removed for newer songs she had made (yes to heaven, your girl, the other side) and she took old money, Melancholia, and money&power for the main album and left black beauty and guns and Roses. I think after this album was scrapped she saved black beauty and guns and Roses from being scrapped and created Ultraviolence deluxe
