judging by what ppl have said there's 3 ambient tracks and 1 with a long ambient outro, pulldrone 100% feels like one of those because ambient is a genre like any other. i understand that it's not everyone's cup of tea, i also prefer her tracks with lyrics, but i think dismissing it like this is worse than anyone being pretentious

i know JFSJDJ it fits tho! i agree with this on paper but i think it would be too messy, plus it's not like most ppl will actively divide things based on whether they relate to Ethel the character or not. White Silas is the previous and obviously biggest one but she has many names and side projects, I think it's easier to name them once and then just refer to them as Ethel music the same way I wouldn't talk about AKA as a Lizzy album, just an older Lana one yk

it's been coming soon for months we need to give up on a date but she does seem to be on a promo rollout rn she just said on tumblr that the track she's the most excited for is number EIGHT so that means at least 6 new tracks + punish and amber waves... we're eating GOOD
