red is on my top 3, but i never listen to the more pop leaning songs in it. it would be perfect as a country album. when i listen to red my tracklist excludes: trouble, 22, wanegbt and stay stay stay

i always forget about red, that song was one of my first favourite taylor songs

All beautiful songs, just personal reasons ruined them for me so I don’t listen to them. Also the tv ruined holy ground for me as well And girl at home but y'all ain’t ready for that.

personally I used to hate red, I thought it was overrated, a disappointement sandwiched between the glorious speak now and 1989 I even put it under debut 🤦and I didn't get the hype for all too well 🤦🤦🤦
I guess the rerecordings changed red for me lol I fell in love with babe, the very first night and come back be here. Doesn't beat speak now tv though actually like emotionally attached to half of speak now

I just don’t really like red anymore as a whole (expect state of grace and the singles… most of them at least.) personal reasons. I bet you think about me slays tho.

I think the only thing I'm scared of for debut (except the country accent) is that it won't hold the childish feeling in debut, because now her voice is so much more mature and lower, and I just feel like the songs won't have the same feeling. I think she's gotten better at singing sad songs (teardrops will sound good in her older voice for sure), but the more naive stuff in debut sound cuter in little taylor's whiny voice ❤️still excited though I've never been a huge fan of debut except for shouldve said no, tim mcgraw and picture to burn and the rerecordings will probably help me appreciate debut more

sometimes, I will listen to older stuff on spotify and like I will look at the album cover, and admire it and then I see the "about the artist" section where there's usually the artist's picture and it's just one thing I don't really like. I don't like seeing the artist put older pictures of themselves because I'm like listening to their songs from their peak youth and then seeing how much they aged just feels so painful. It just makes the song less timeless idk it's just something it doesn't necessarily bother me (:
 
I'm not saying like artists not being able to change their photos are whatever I totally respect artist's choices! Just a bit bizzare to see artists after their career is over, like for me the backstreet boys look a tiny bit unrecognizeable lol cause sometimes artists just don't have the same iconic magic to them after their peak and it's reflected in their photos idk how to put it just something I was thinking of ❤️

But in all seriousness if you don’t like Taylor or her music or just don’t have anything nice or productive to say about her you shouldn’t be in this thread…
