June 13th 2014, American Singer Songwriter Author the one and only Lana Del Rey released her third studio album, Ultraviolence.

After Born To Die, Del Rey claimed she had "already said everything she wanted to say" in 2012. By February 2013, Del Rey spoke about a new album in the works, "It's a little more stripped down but still cinematic and dark. I've been working on it really slowly but I love everything I've done." The first announcement was after the premeire of her short film Tropico viewing in Hollywood on December 4th 2013. October 2013, Del Rey stated, " "When people ask me about it, I just have to be honest—I really don't know. I don't want to say, 'Yeah, definitely—the next one's better than this one', because I don't really hear a next one. My muse is very fickle. She only comes to me sometimes, which is annoying." May 8th 2014, the tracklist was announced and on May 14th, the artwork was released featuring a black and white cover of Del Rey wearing a sheer white tee and strapless bra by a Mercedes-Benz 380SL. Ultraviolence marks a significant evolution in her musical style. Departing from the baroque pop of her debut album Born to Die, Ultraviolence adopts a darker, more atmospheric sound marking a significant evolution in her musical style. Well that's one of my issues with my translation, 'cause there's a lot of tension in it kind off, while in the french article they're more like laid back or "yeah ok" so I tried to do my best

January 31st: Lana Del Rey has announced the title of her newest record "Lasso" during the NMPA x Billboard Songwriter Awards + Showcase. The album will be a country record with production by Jack Antonoff set for release in September 2024.
 

 
What we know so far:
- In a journal entry dated March 28th, 2023 posted on Instagram, Jack Antonoff wrote that "Lana refuses to leave [the studio]"
-  Lana Del Rey has revealed to a fan while at a Waffle House in Florence, Alabama that she is "working on a new recording" in July 2023. Later that month, she visited Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Sheffield, Alabama where she recorded 3-4 songs.
- In November 2023, Lana Del Rey hung out with Luke Laird, a country music producer/songwriter, in Nashville. They later visited again in January.
- In January 2024, Lana Del Rey stated she was working on new songs with Jack Antonoff in an Instagram story post.
