it still gets a lil much and I have a good cry about her passing every now and then but damn 4 years it really has been that long huh...  missing her everyday I finally started listening to Just Like We Never Said Goodbye again and damn is it so haunting

i really hope im proven wrong but i feel like this album is gonna be so disappointing once it finally comes out 

It’s weird cuz I’ve heard 4 songs, 3 are amazing and one is a very cute girl, but now I’m nervous this will be her first dip in quality based on the lack of reviews and also North West randomly being there

so agree w everything... the marketing and concept is so off and bad and her starting every answer to a question on what eusexua means with "it's a word that isn’t in the English language that means... *an already existing word*"  

Because it’s half assed and feels random AF.
 
“Eusexua is a feeling” is one of the dumbest ways to try and advertise this album. If she would have just been honest and said “I don’t really know what eusexua is , but I’m hoping to have a better understanding in this music” I’d probably be more inclined to believe anything she’s said this era. But it’s so clear she has some dire urge to be some sort of mysterious industry darling this era, it all feels calculated and soulless. The TikTok  brain marketing has payed off, I’ll give her that. But everything else is just NOT twigs. The lyrics are surface level, the production is empty, the artwork is horrific and uncomfortable to look at. (And not in the good way most of her album art is) she had YVES TUMOR in a video for some reason, but I think if they had collabed on an actual song it would’ve been amazing and completely in the spirit of “eusexua”…I don’t even wanna get started on the Nicki Minaj meetup….Even the Imogen interview was just embarrassing. That could’ve been a great moment to bring two musical geniuses together to talk about the fluidity of genre, or other things, but no they wanted to yodel in an echo chamber and call twigs’ music “pussy”  which is FINE…. But then we have to recognize the music is not as serious as the conversation we’re trying to have.

Drums of Death is text book amazing innovative and FRESH twigs. Wish we could’ve gotten an album of THOSE instead of 4AMs. Whoever told her Room of Fools deserves to be on an album was trying to sabotage her.

I've never used tik tok in my life but i feel bad because for a lot of people it was how they made a living so i hope it comes back for that reason

I think she should just leave visuals to experts at this point… her music videos are getting worse and worse… amazing how well crafter the CB MV were in opposed to the Portals ones (with more budget) 
 
When it comes to the music, I will say the unreleased stuff was much more interesting to me than the released. The rock vibe just isn’t for her in my opinion… it was cute on Function and Evil but I think she excels more with ambient / trap production! Some of the best songs in this era being Tunnel Vision, Garden, Dragons Blood, Void (demo), Contortionist and Needle & Thread 
 
on the other hand, I don’t agree the CB persona is what went wrong with her… if done right, the concept could have been much more interesting and could go on for a couple more albums. The problem is her writting, her concepts get more and more uninspired and the lyrics are straight up cringe. An example of that is After School, she didn’t follow a character there yet it stays her worst effort to date for me
