  1. *Nnnnn. I feel the same. A lot of fans love Born to Die because of the hip-hop elements. That album has a wide demographic of people enjoying it: from gay to straight, from hip-hop to pop fans, from young to old, from underground music lovers to mainstream ones. I feel like Ultraviolence will be a commercial flop but more critically acclaimed--I don't know. Lana seems to be more concerned about critics and how they perceive her than success, at this point.

I was gonna do this but I can't find a download? Help.
  3. I'm thinking she probably did the songwriting with the usual names, some of which are kinda confirmed: Emile, Dan Heath, Rick Nowels, Tim Larcombe. Perhaps she was dissatisfied with their attempts at stripped, rock-oriented production like she envisioned, so she took most of the production to someone more qualified, Dan A. Like how most of BTD's songs weren't written with Emile Haynie, but she brought him in for a full execution of her vision.

Love them! They were so good opening for Charli, really one of the best live acts I've ever seen. Also I ran into the singer Chloe at the Lana show I went to? And she was so cute and excited to be recognized. Like twice as excited as I was.
  6. Pretty much this: So some people have scans but won't post them all at once. For whatever reason.
  7. Are Lana news accounts, like, hoarding this interview? How are they posting paragraphs at a time but not the whole thing?
  8. National Anthem? Live or Die? Guys let's not go too far. I'm sure it'll still be dark. Especially considering she now has some perspective on the song topic, which she lacked in National Anthem (hence the heightened glamourrrrrr) Like @@Rafael said: She's more "opulence is the end" nowadays than "buy me lotsa diamonds"
  9. Can't wait for "Money Power Glory and Gore" mashups
  10. Thx @ for bringing attention to this, revealed in her interview with Liberation: Expectations? Relation to "Old Money"? Translation anyone? (inb4 a real translation reveals it isn't a song title at all)
  11. Was gonna do this but then realized how misleading it would be since it's not out yet Why can't we just have a pact to start a new thread when it comes out?

Idk dude, watching an entire documentary in a language you don't speak for random possible moments of info is a mistake you make only once

I'm on the fence because the production is cooool but I try to avoid anthemic male indie which is what's he's giving me Second song is kinda undeniable though, will give his album a listen.
