LANALYSIS: Relating Songs To Known/Assumed Relationships
Sitar replied to Sitar's topic in Lana Thoughts
It is actually Reeve who has the song "Lavender". How awesome to hear. I love when this thread excites people. Welcome to obsession! I've been thinking a lot about the potential of her relationship with Jimmy being nothing more than an obsession...Might Arthur be the more important guy? The "violent love", the "local rockstar", the man who couldn't behave in terms of addiction...And a friend of Jimmy's, too, correct? It's been a long road of assuming a lot about Jimmy based on Yayo and the name-drops, but maybe it's time to think more critically... I'm going to post a simple list of all the songs with a name attributed to each before I post the final descriptions in the OP. The idea is that you'll field me your opinions but we'll see, I'm about half through. -
That's disgusting. The method of protesting, though >>>

Also less talented Brooke was great in Genesis because she didn't open her mouth.

That's really odd. Is it a pre-order link? A whole EP? What are the contents? (I like the cover, how she went for an illustration and didn't make it the most flattering. However, it is pretty fug.) More from the vid: I wonder why she deleted it...Supposedly it was out of sync with the vocals and I guess it's a little weird that the whole video is just this "sport goth" look. Perhaps it was just a mistake. Anyway, I'm pestering the gif makers on tumblr. EDIT: Utter death: http://eclectdissect.tumblr.com/post/53639561638/have-you-already-been-pestered-to-upload-the-tennis

From the video So someone made gifs but didn't save it...

I'd imagine it would have the single cover.

Chh, Azealia mentioned something about New York ownership and Angel jumped to "charcoal skinned bitch" as an excuse to release her already written diss track about Azealia. Then again, I've had a lot of practice siding with her But yes let's discuss how terrible Brooke Candy is
-
They were gonna collab but Charli had to settle for less (Brooke Candy) Someday...Charli is not any kind of Twitter personality so I don't see them having a reason to fight (read: Azealia misinterpreting something). And hey, of all feuds Azealia's been in, she didn't start the Angel Haze one.

Sitar replied to FROGGO's topic in LanaBoards Updates
I do not really want to do the hunting, but I will do some transcribing if anyone's feeling lazy. (I'm so sick/nerdy, transcribing actually seems fun to me.) -
FUCK ME DEAD. Supposedly there was Tennis Court video that's now been deleted?! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tym-1jKeS0&feature=player_embedded

"Summertime Sadness" - Next Single in the US, July 2nd
Sitar replied to Kimi Rose's topic in New Releases
Oh my god it's real Hopefully they use old stuff for this release and she can film Body Electric etc. -
Guys, it's just a month later.

Is Die Life a song? I thought it was the first album title. Well, forgetting the repeated "Electra Heart" in the lyrics, she said a while ago that she was considering playing the title track as the opener on the last leg of her tour.
-
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat
-
Oh, that kind of makes sense...I believe the number was 22. So if we count the 17 songs on various versions of the album plus EVOL and Electra Heart...that's 19. And then I believe I've heard Miss Y and Scab and Plaster were outtakes, making 21.
-
This bitch still ain't done with her album... I saw someone say ATM Jam on July 9th, though. Based on what, I'm not sure.

We made it through the 27th year, everyone

Lana Del Rey Interviewed By Electronics Beats Magazine
Sitar replied to sweetlana's topic in New Interviews
I think most of you weren't responding to me on the topic of being a critical fan versus being a hugely supportive fan in the last few pages but I appreciate the insight on the difference between the two (@@Monicker @@TrailerParkDarling @@maru @@evilentity @). Recall I thought this thread was getting a little heavy on the denouncing but in actuality it's just really heavily concentrated, warranted criticism. Just...very heavily concentrated I'm facing a difficult paradox as someone who is particularly attached to Lana Del Rey as a person because I'm mostly in agreement with the naysayers but still holding myself back from obligatory defense... It was almost time to start expecting a lead single, too.
