  1. This is important! So maybe with greymillenium's info...Mike in the verses, Jimmy in the chorus? Also interesting about Van...although we really have limited info about that relationship. I'd believe it, though. Unless you can think of more examples proving they had a fling? WHERE?!
  2. WELL ISN'T THIS EMBARRASSING THAT YOU WENT TO THIS EXTENT TO CAPS-LOCK AT ME BECAUSE YOU'RE ACTUALLY WRONG. IT IS REGISTERED AS "EVERY MAN HAS HIS WISH". PITY THAT.

    Ride

Been meaning to ask if anyone else heard this, too...We really need some official lyrics
  4. You know it might actually be fake, I don't think I've ever seen it again either... What up with a bunch of tattoos, but only one her hands?
  5. For posting too much. Oops...that happened...

    Marry , Fuck , Kill

Fuck Lemon pie, marry Lemon pie, kill Lemon pie. Lemon pie, Monicker, evilentity
  7. Listen to "Every Man Has His Wish" several times a day before school. I need it to function.
  8. If someone told me to download Lana Del Rey's lead single "Born 2 Die" off her new album Do U Luv Me Yet?, I would have told them to fuck off.
  9. Question is: WILL THERE BE HOT MEN IN "RIDE"? Perhaps there shouldn't be. Despite the opening, it's a more personal song than any of her singles so far. Less relationship-oriented.
  10. As you should (I hate "Soft Shock", and it's the ONLY YYYs song in which that's the case.) ≈Ω≈Ω≈Ω≈Ω≈Ω≈Ω≈Ω≈Ω≈ - Grimes
  11. Wow, looks like I have a lot more faith than a lot of you! She did say she got "clean" in a comment on the "Carmen" video, remember? A lot of people cite her stage presence as evidence for drug and alcohol use, but to be honest I think she's just weird. I'm usually not the optimist when it comes to her personal life, but I think even if she has slip-ups (been trying hard not to get into trouble), it's not something that she isn't working on.

  13. Where is miiiiiiiine? (For Monicker to cut off his dick and just stop, just stop it right now, I don't care how many Mr. Rogers records were involved [no, I kinda do, what the fuck kinda tidbit is that, this must be related to the S&M mask, oh god please tell me none of these SEXXX anecdotes involve that]. I mean, you even called it erotic, Monicker. You said it was erotic that she liked the chocolate cake more than cunnilingus and you were into the indifference. I'm going mental.)
  14. Oldies apply to evilentity's childhood? Crazy.
  15. NO MONICKER YOU NEED TO REMAIN SEXLESS AND MASKED
  16. Also "Nabokov Whitman" on a finger. Only vaguely remember the "die young" one...if so, EEK
  17. What if it was a Diet MTN Dew demo, but recorded with the Phenomena?! Thanks Indulge this theory for a second, please, I'm feeling pretty good about it: Lana has gone on record saying that her first three singles--"Video Games", "Born to Die", and "Blue Jeans"--are a trilogy. As a fanbase, it's our job to read really far into this. A safe point to jump to is that these songs are a trilogy in the sense that they're all about the same love story. I readily accepted this for a while and assigned this trilogy to her criminal love story, K. "Blue Jeans" has the most detail of any of these three songs, specifically relating back to "For K", so this as a logical jump of intuition. But if you think about it, really think about it, these songs don't have any particular details in common. Sure, they're all mournful. But it ends there. Just recently, some stalkers insiders made it vaguely apparent that they were positive "Video Games" is about Mike Mizrahi. Mike's story doesn't cohesively fit with the mysterious K's, so we're all left in the dust of that trilogy theory. But that's how Lana herself described it--a trilogy. So what if these three songs aren't a trilogy in the sense that they all connect back to one guy, but that they connect to three separate things she holds dear. For instance, what if this trilogy is about the three most important loves of her life? It makes sense, doesn't it? She cast Bradley Soileau in "Born to Die" based on his appearance, which bears some striking similarities to Jimmy Gnecco's. And just reading this thread, it's impossible not to get the sense that these were Lana's most important relationships--held above Bill and possibly Chris and whoever she dated as a teenager. "Video Games" being about Mike, "Born to Die" being about Jimmy, and "Blue Jeans" being about K. Problems with this: - Born to Die. Very K, right? Wrong. Who's to say that she means die in the literal sense? She sings last thing I saw before I died, and lo and behold, she's not dead. - Bradley Soileau, the model equivalent of Jimmy Gnecco, is also in "Blue Jeans". So that song must be about Jimmy, right? Wrong. See, she was already in a professional relationship with Bradley at that point, and maybe even a less-than-professional one. People were fascinated with his image. Business-wise, casting Bradley was a natural move. She originally cast him for "Born to Die" based on his looks--but did she ever say the same for the decision in "Blue Jeans"? As far as I know, the answer is no. Shower me with praise or comments.
  18. I'm in too deep, I can't even fathom how Monicker, who at least spends a chunk of time here fangirling and not just listening to her album, can't be interested in the digging. Someone call for help Can't decide whether it's for me or for him
  19. How are some of you alright with her being a zombie, though? I know that's a cute question and all but I do not fuck around with the living dead :imbeingsarcasticbitch2:

    Summer Of Sam

I like that it sounds kind of shitty--makes me imagine it in, like, a mixtape format. Can you imagine that? If Lana had a hip-hop mixtape? Oy.
  21. Hoping Lana never writes a "fan song" a la Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Ke$ha...basically all the people that have names for their fans. Sets her apart.

    Marry , Fuck , Kill

Marry Elvis, fuck James Dean, kill Audrey Hepburn. (That's the most content I've ever felt after deciding on a choice in this thread.) Your grandma, your grandpa, your dad.
  23. LIPSTERS That one's just so funny and ridiculous that I like to use it
  24. I see the simple beauty of "I am my only god" getting that praise Wish it wasn't only facial features...I love the heart shape her ass is
