Always the titular question lol.... Honestly I do not know. I'm conflicted on what to expect. I feel like we have kind of conflicting info, she said in interview there was "no room for color", then we have BOZ/insiders hyping it up (and I don't see a colorless album being something they would be into), also the Rockefeller snippet has a warmness to it as well which invokes a bit of color. To actually answer the question though, I'm feeling maybe an amber color or hue, clear and or gray is always an option too lol. Same lol.

He is definitely playing damage control now. As @Venice Peach said I am sure BOZ (and possibly Eclipse) have told him to calm it down with LB being aware of him. For him to mention Lana so much prev I highly doubt he has no interest in her new record. He is just not wanting to draw attention to himself and his sources, which is understandable. Let's take what little nuggets we originally got from his twitter and leave the kid alone. But again I'm not convinced none of what was said doesn't pertain to LDR, it's obvious it did. Either way everyone let him be lol!

Okay now that I've had a few days with the record I can say it is yet another triumph/masterpiece for Weyes. Front Row Seat, Titanic Rising, and now And In The Darkness. She's amazing, pure talent/art. Her music for me is always something that builds over time so I will definitely need some more time to rank the albums themselves. That said conceptually/visually I definitely think this one takes the cake. The rollout, videos, promo, build up, and concept were/are just perfect. Every track on here is so special and amazing in its own way. I literally cannot pick faves atm lol. Today I am really vibing with Children of the Empire and Twin Flame though, The Worst Is Done and A Given Thing are hitting pretty hard too. Definite AOTY contender. It and Preacher's Daughter have just over a month to duke it out before I make that final call.

I don't mind waiting till March or even a tad after. I just want official acknowledgement or announcement by Lana or her team. Really an announcement lol, a little promo single would be nice too!

If these acronyms are indeed titles which I can see because she mentioned automatic writing I can definitely see them being similar to her poetry titles. It’s interesting to think about how this new process will impact the record. Super intrigued.

I also wonder, it is interesting and fun to think about. Like what would be too far for her team for them to go. Maybe he confirmed since was released technically by FJM himself. Either way Lana's team C&D'ng them def makes the silence and secrecy make more sense. That def puts the little clues/hints and indirect spills in perspective more so. With everyone talking including her direct collaborators we are definitely close to it being dropped. Again would love this year but I'm really not expecting anything till next year, I can def see semi announcement/confirmation and promo single this year though. Something like hey guys new album out early next year and he's a little promo single. I can even see the album title not being revealed lol. We will see though.

I think we would all love this! So let's manifest but I'm still thinking March/April. I'm just hoping for a short and smooth little rollout! Very excited though, ready to see/hear what's all the insiders' teases have been about. On another note, as said prev on thread will most likely be different sound than COCC/BB with BOZ hyping it up. I'm just so curious! I'm sure I will love it. Lana really just cannot make a bad album, to me that is... like she really is incapable. No matter what she puts out I connect with it and eat it right up. Hoping we get single by end of year, fingers crossed!

It is all coming together! Slowly but surely, piece by piece, etc etc lol. I feel better now knowing it is indeed coming. I'm still anticipating q1 next year.

All the teases, the he said, she said, they said had me semi perched but not fully in it. Eclipse's confirmation really has me ready now. I mean the Neil comment was cool and I took it as they will be releasing their work together soon but this additional info today is very nice. Thanks for the insight, really makes things make more sense.

The snippet definitely sounds like her when you can hear the singing. Now whether or not it’s an edit I don’t know. That said if it’s not I definitely like it. It does have a Honeymoon vibe to it. Cinematic and a little dark and foreboding. I get Religion vibes from it more so than Salvatore though. That’s just me. Well, I can hear Salvatore too but it just gives me Religion feels.

I'm not opposed to collabs but usually prefer to not have them lol. I know Ben already mentioned it being solo. That said I believe RideOrDie may be Eclipse if I am not mistaken, someone correct me if I am wrong.... someone beat me to it lol! If so maybe the album is finished and he has heard some of it which bodes well hopefully for more info soon. Hopefully rollout begins. Realistically not anticipating album till spring though.
