It may make me a sappy romantic but I really love the part in the book where Elio cuts open Oliver’s eggs. Like something so small speaks so much to me. Am I the only one, lol probably! It’s just the little things that add up and really grab me.

This really kind of feels like the same thing that happened with the Dallas show for the Endless Summer Tour. Same things were was said and it never happened. I finally just ended up receiving a refund lol. If you can get a refund now and make a way to a different date that’s what I would do, instead of waiting to see if this gets rescheduled. This!!! Stress is never good for your immune system. Also the flu season is horrible this year! Apparently the shot for this year really wasn’t as effective as they hoped. Different strains and what not. I certainly hope she gets better as well. Maybe she can straightline (IV) some fluids and get some rest lol. Isn’t that the new craze, I thought I remember a vid of Stella doing it lol.

I loved her so much. She is my favorite supporting character. I really wish she could have been included in the film as well but like you said it just would have taken more development. She really added so much to the story for me! Yes though, tears. Awwww!

I agree. It’s more than just the whole gay thing lol! Honestly the story and movie to me both transcend sexual preference. I’ve always had a bit of a thing for complicated romances. What can I say! I just relate lol. Awwwww Fight Club, I haven’t seen that in forever either. It was a good movie though lol. I hear you though, so much shit always going on lol! It’s so hard to focus sometimes. You definitely want to be in a more calm place so you can fully absorb and enjoy the story!

I’ll have to take the time to sit down and go through it more detailed but they just left a lot of interaction between them out. Rome yes for one, then a lot of little moments between them leading up to Elio’s confession, also a lot of Elio’s inner dialogue. I get they couldn’t necessarily put all this in especially the inner dialogues but it’s like there was more going on than what was in the movie. Like this real palpable tension/flirting back and forth. It may not matter to some people but the exclusion of Vimini really made me sad a bit. I liked her a lot. She was a young girl who had leukemia that Oliver befriended. Their relationship just added another layer of Oliver to me. Like a more caring and vulnerable side. I really loved the plot lines with her in the novel. I get it may have not worked with the vibe of the movie to add a little ten year old girl but it was cute to me in the novel. They did end up working some of her “knowledge” of how Oliver felt through Elio’s mom. It honestly was just a lot of little things that fleshed them out a lot more to me. You should really read the book though, at least listen to the audiobook! I’m loving rereading it. I’ll probably go see the movie this weekend again. Why are we so obsessed lol!!! Who said anything about needing to get paid! Lol. But that would be icing on the cake.

Rereading the book really makes me think about all the little things they left out of the movie. Ugh, there are just so many little things I wish were there. Could have been so much more depth and insight. I really love this book! Taking it slower reading it the second time though.

Yes that Woodlands/Houston Date was one of her best for that whole tour! I still beat myself up for not going to that one lol. I ended up going to the cancelled Dallas one. She does seem to have a heavy following around here, at least in the metro areas and cities. I hate that you guys don't get as many shows down there. It must be hard! I know at the Dallas show while we were waiting there were severally people who said they had flown in from Central and South America but lets be realistic, not everybody has that money to just blow. I know I don't lol!

Awwww I wish I would have gotten GA now. Especially with the front row vids the other day. That’s the joy of reserved seating though, it doesn’t matter the time you arrive. I’m hoping for a pretty good turn out. I did look into getting Silver VIPs a couple of days ago and they were all sold out. So I’m thinking it will be a pretty good draw. That’s super early! But you def want to be first in line lol. I’ll be in the lower bowl though! I’m gonna send you positive vibes the day of in hopes that you get a great spot lol. It’s just nice to know other people going. Standing Room Only! Gosh ya'll make me wanna drop my tix and get GA but I don't want regular GA. I'd really want early entry, otherwise I'd have to be out there super early. Don't know how my boyfriend would feel about that lol! Whatever I'm sticking with what I already bought, for now at least lol.
