Me too! Not that it really matters but I want her to be fucking fire!!!! She looked really great at the EMA's, crossing my fingers we have another hit dress.

Imagine this outfit and the way her hair was free flowing in Newark with just a bit of volume! Would have been perfect. She’s still beautiful and I initially could tolerate the clips but the shit has gone too far lol! Either way glad she is comfortable and feeling good about herself! I guess her little faux pas make her even cuter and more relatable.

2 weeks guys, so close! Sold the tix yesterday so I can get better ones. Wish me luck lol! I get paid on Wednesday hoping to snag some decent ones. Even though GA is sold out! Anyways I'm just excited. Seems like this is going by too slow lol.

Same thing at my showing. Everybody kept laughing at things that weren’t funny. It really was kind of awkward and annoying. It’s obvious they weren’t getting the point of the film. @@loleetah while I liked the movie it did feel a bit rushed to me. The book is so much better and does add way more context. I hope you enjoy it. It’s a really a great book!

Honestly I never really cared for Old Money that much but watching this only proves it was made to be performed live! I love that she is changing up the setlist but it is still so sad we haven't gotten to hear so many other songs live. Hearing a song live can make you have a completely different feel about it and appreciate it even more! We need to stop doing this exact same pin style every night. I much preferred the free style she had in Newark. Let's start doing that every night please lol! I feel like the pins would also maybe look a lot better if she side parted her hair and pinned it lower on either side but not so far up towards her forehead. I do actually like her hair straight like this with the middle part - but without the pins lol!

@@NamiraWilhelm I think you said it just right lol. I was just more wordy! It can be hard for some people to understand sometimes. Especially if one doesn't have any experience with love, loss, death, or especially addiction. Not saying that any of you guys who've commented differently don't have those experiences b/c I don't know that. I don't know you on a personal level so don't take this as a diss. I'm just saying from my life and the experiences that I've had with each of those things it is a very easy parallel for me to draw. ***It wouldn't let me quote and reply. I agree with you about the song possibly being about him. Just because Dark Paradise deals in terms with death doesn't mean that it can't be about somebody who is still alive. Someone can be alive and still be dead to you. It's unfortunate but that is live. Sometimes things reach a certain point where that person is no longer the person you once knew. They are no longer there. Either you cut them out or they move on or whatever but it's still a loss. Especially with addiction. I've personally been around the recovery block for a good chunk of my own life and you can def see what is going to be whenever someone is so far gone that they cannot change. The song could have been a way for her to work out her grief and feelings about him losing his battle with addiction. Whenever you're in that position sometimes you have to cut ties and if those feelings are strong enough it can be comparable to that of losing someone (death). He was already gone to her even before he finally passed.

I think you may have a pretty decent chance of having the greatest moment in your life then.

Talk of a sequel, honestly I could take it or leave it. While I did love the film the book will always be on a diff level to me. That said, if they were to make a sequel I really hope that they end with the ending from the story. I wouldn't mind so much if it were like a forward to the end of the novel and then they flash back through the movie into points of their lives leading up to that. It honestly wouldn't bother me if Elio ends being with Marzia for a while in the time after Oliver. I didn't mind the actress who played her and I actually felt for her character quite a bit. I think in the end it needs to show that no matter who Elio hops from over the years ( I say this bc I see him not being able to be with one person or truly love anybody the way he did Oliver) and how long Oliver has been with his wife building his family is that they still love one another as deeply as they did back then. They never found that love, that passion, that connection like they had with one another even over all these years. I don't want them to end up together b/c that is not the point of the story. This is real life and life is messy. Things don't always work out, no matter how much we may want them to. It just makes me think of their conversation in the bar at Elio's hotel when Oliver says,"seeing you here is like waking up from a twenty year coma...." and the rest of that monologue. That's how I see their love and envision a sequel. No matter what happened in between their time in Italy and their present lives they both could go back instantly to that time, that feeling, and those moments.

Hated the Detroit look! My faves so far have been Minneapolis, Boston, Toronto, and last night at Newark! Not really thrilled by the rest. She was so effortless last night, she looked great. I loved the dress in Minneapolis and I actually like the straight hair but can do without the pins. Boston the hair and the simple dress with the boots was on point, quintessential Lana to me. Toronto I loved the whole outfit and the hair, again minus the pins lol. The curly hair from Detroit doesn't do any favors for her in my opinion. It really ages her a lot to me. I didn't care for the outfit too much either.

Personally I'm wanting her to keep Cruel World and Honeymoon. They are honestly so fucking good live! Some of my favorites. She absolutely killed it last night with them. Wishful thinking here, well lets just say delusional but I'm dreaming of Heroin! I know it will never happen but the way she tied DMD to NY in my mind I see Houston for Heroin being it is so well known for NASA, the space program, flying to the moon, etc. This is a crazy connection and I realize that it won't happen but one can dream lol. Also hoping this show is selling good. I hate we can't view it being it is on a partner site. I know she has a big following down here so hoping for a full house. I just saw where Gen Admission is sold out and StubHub has considerably less tickets for Houston than the Dallas date. A comparison of like 350 in Houston vs closer to 1000 in Dallas.

Really, no I didn’t know that. While I do love Bowie I cannot imagine any other song with this movie. It really does fit it so well! Lyrics and everything! It really encompasses the whole vibe of the movie and story. I love it! Honestly wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m going to have to check out your playlist whenever I get off! Love My Way is just so fucking perfect. I’ve always loved 80’s music. I’m excited to listen to it. Idk if it is because I was listening to that album a bit when reading the book but the new Lawrence Rothman album really vibes to the movie and story for me. Specifically Wolves Still Cry, Jordan, and Stand By. Idk why but those songs make me think of cmbyn!
