I'm really digging the new album, very Bowiesque. Love the vibe, like just so easy to get lost in. It evokes a sense escapism for me lol! Also the video for Four Out Of Five is amazing. Loving the aesthetic for both music and visuals thus far.

Nooooooo to the blonde hair again. I'm not saying it looked bad on her during that festival period but it didn't do much for me. I felt like it really washed her out! As I've said I really like her hair now but whatever she wants to do lol! That Clive Davis hair was beautiful. I wouldn't mind her going back to a darker auburn like that but I have a feeling we will be sticking with brown lol. As far as looks hmmmm idk she always looks beautiful. She's human, we all have slumps we get in sometimes. But 2014 was ofc probably my favorite year. I really think she's been looking great here lately too though. Looking back at 2016 pics of that red hair though, I do love it lol. Especially where she is walking down the street in that white top/jeans and has it styled the way it was for Clive event.

I like her hair short honestly! I mean I like her hair longer too but she is cute with short hair. Refer to the Grammys look please. Either way she can always add in some extensions if she’s wanting a little extra length!

utopia was so sweet, it had me feeling a little bit this am upon first listen. It totally wasn't the direction I was thinking. I was thinking something more beat driven/dark a la Deep End but it's a very sentimental song for her to share and seems like a good way to close the record. Full circle in a way! While I can appreciate it and the beautiful message it has behind it, it's def my least favorite of the three released so far. I will say that the last verse/chorus really pulled me in. I felt the hint of darkness there and loved it. I'm still super excited about this album and cannot wait. I think it will be my go to summer album this year, unless of course Lana ends up dropping something lol. I'm anxiously anticipating tracks 6-9! I have a feeling that block is going to be something special. Ready for it!

It wasn't from Complex themselves but from a fan account citing Complex I think. I know I'll probably get dragged to hell for this but whatever! I'm glad it ended up being fake. I honestly cringed a bit when I saw it lol. No hate or anything! Marina is very talented, just not my thing. If there is a collaboration between the two keep it on Marina's album and not Lana's!

Does anyone have any idea when she’ll drop Utopia? I’m thinking next week. I was really hoping for a surprise drop yesterday or today. I know it won’t happen but one can dream lol.

Love the album but definitely need more time to fully process and absorb. Faves initially are Pay No Mind, Lemon Glow, L'Inconnue, Drunk In LA, and Black Car. I hadn't listened to Lemon Glow in a while and hearing it again this morning, wow! It's one of the best lol. Black Car is another that I really love and pulled me in at first listen when they released it a couple of weeks ago. Pay No Mind hooks me instantly but the ending REALLY gets me, love it.

So many good points!!!! Florida Kilos is overrated, really it is nowhere near Is This Happiness! Speaking of Is This Happiness - it should have been on the standard release. The rest of the points need no explanation lol.

Yesss, I'm so ready for this album. Cannot wait, the insta stories songs have me hyped even more. Def seeing the so sad so sexy of it all! Anyways, thoughts after having the songs for a couple of weeks. Yes, it is not what was expected. Yes, it initially felt a little generic and overly pop oriented. Whatever, I don't care honestly! The songs are still great and wonderful. Very well crafted tracks to me. Honestly if we didn't have a certain expectation of what it would sound like would we have been that disappointed if another person released these. It's fun when an artist changes things up a bit and brings in a diff sound. That doesn't mean she will continue with this sound in the future or even on the whole album itself. Either way I love them. I think the sound and vibe suits her very well so I'm here for it. My initial fave was Hard Rain, still is honestly. It's lyrics really resonate with me, I love them. That said I find myself singing Deep End in my head so much lately. Like waking up with it in my head lol! So catchy. Excited for June 8th, but curious when we will get another track before release!

Completely different direction, not what I was expecting at all. It’s not necessarily the Lykke that I know and love but I’m willing to give it a shot. It def intrigues me as far as how the rest of the album will sound. I don’t hate it! I think it’s just because it’s something completely different than the expectations I had. Either way good for her, experimenting and stuff. Out of the two tracks we have I’d have to say Hard Rain>Deep End which is so weird because I was absolutely in love with the sound of the tease she shared. Oh well the production and instrumental for DE is awesome but the lyrics and vocals draw me in more on HR. Regardless I’m here to see what’s in store and wish her luck with this new direction and endeavor! I’m sensing a more commercial push. I will add though that the visuals thus far are awesome to me! Long story short it wasn’t as disappointing once I just completely abandoned my expectations and ideas of what her next album was going to sound like. It’s interesting!

I love the new arrangement/production and her vocals of it during live performances. It’s honestly a classic. Would love to hear it redone with the new sound of it!
