Apparently Genius and somewhere else (can't remember) have Mariner's listed as coming out on 12th, Wednesday.

So just sitting thinking about this whole standalone tracks vs rolling into the next album debate. We all know that Lana is always making music, sometimes even during the mixing process for the current record. I don't know, I just don't get the feeling that these are going to be standalone tracks. It's been well over a year and plenty of time for her to have a new album composed. Rather that album is all new tracks or a combination of new music mixed with older never released outtakes. Lana likes a schedule and planning and there seems to be a feeling of a rollout here to me. She has been extremely quiet here recently which makes me feel like we are due for an album, if not a full one maybe an EP. She and Jack have actually been working together for several months now. As someone mentioned before I don't see her releasing one or two tracks off handedly with a new producer. That would more likely happen with Rick if anything. The whole "two end of summer jams" makes me think maybe these two songs are akin to her feel of summer and the rest of the possible record will be a little more winter/fall toned. I really wouldn't be surprised if we have an album by December! Either way God is real, and heaven is a place on earth.

A reporter made a story out of Lana saying she wished she was dead already. She opened up to him thinking that he wouldn’t share some of the things she said and he took advantage of her naivete. She’s claimed it was out of context and that he positioned himself as a fan and that she could trust him basically. You can look it up and read his story! Also she really opens up a bit more about it in the recording of her Pitchfork interview from last year. It’s a great listen if you haven’t heard it before.

I really believe her to be alluding to this in the song. I just have those feels lol! This is an interesting fact to know. Further solidifies my belief in that.

Love this so much! Just the feel and vibe is so great. That slight 90’s nostalgia always ropes me in. The lyrics are beautiful and seem very promising. Crossing my fingers they continue that way. The sound, lyrics, and vibe just resonate with me. I’m definitely here for this! As others have said this track would go great with BAR. Also the more I listen to the snippet the more I feel like it could be alluding to the whole Guardian interview and the backlash from that. It just feels more meaningful than most of what was on LFL. Also I really do not believe this is Yosemite! I still don’t think Lana is at the place she referenced when talking about Yosemite. Either way I’m so excited!

Everything is bright now, no more cloudy days. Even when the storms come in the eye we'll stay. . . . . .Hallelujah, I need your love. Still that song!

I'd love this, love them. It'd be so chill, downbeat, and sexy. Doubt it happens though, she's probably just a listener like us lol.

I was thinking early 2019 myself as well. If that's the case I'd say Nov promo rollout maybe. Who knows! She certainly does work fast, really intrigued to hear what's been happening. I was too lol! When I saw that I was like hmmmm, okay Ben. He's always stirring things up a bit around release times lol. We all know that Lana likes a plan/schedule so whatever it is I'm sure it's already planned out. Hopefully it won't be hindered this go round and is sooner rather than later. We honestly are so spoiled but I just want to hear what direction we are going in .

So we know that Lana has been working on new music, obviously. But do ya'll think since Ben reposted her and Jack's pic, with a music note, it's coming sooner rather than later? I know it probably means nothing but one can hope.

Hard Rain is still that song! Hadn’t listened in a while and it still sounds so fresh and good. Love it!

The Spotify singles are nice. SMFD is still one of the top tracks. She’s so suited for R&B, SSSS already proved that but these do even further. The Usher cover is a nice addition to have.

Love Tommy, she’s a bit of a guilty pleasure. Tommy and Lucky have both been good. 100 bad is decent lol. I’m the opposite though, I like her music but think her visuals lack and are shallow af. Angelina is one of my faves by her! Check out the live version. I’ll look and post! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=C0VDKCr2UwY

Ruen Brothers talk about sitting with Lana and sharing their music with her at Rick Rubin's @ about the 26:30 mark of the interview. I know info is so scarce but apparently she liked one song in particular and played them a special song she had written a long time ago! To be a fly on the wall lol. Their music isn't bad either. I actually quite like what I've heard of their album so far, a few songs in. Summer Sun, Vendetta, and All My Shades Of Blue are very nice. I wonder if this will have any inspiration on the sound of LDR 6, we’ll see I guess. https://www.npr.org/sections/world-cafe/2018/06/26/623293905/ruen-brothers-on-world-cafe

I was wondering. It has a Bad Together/Running/Want To kind of vibe to me. Honestly they left most of the best songs off! Sad. This one is good.
-
I love Afterlight! This is the kind of the vibe I miss from her lol. When is Afterlight from? Before or after DL1?

A perfect pairing if there ever was one!

This album in general.

Good taste! I was also hoping she'd come to TX! Austin, Dallas, Houston idc just somewhere here lol! I doubt it though considering the dates provided.

I'd have to agree lol! All seriousness though Deep End is amazing. It's in my top songs from the album. The singles were actually really good picks. My favorite songs other than singles are SSSS and Better Alone. They are just top tier! JITA I would have to say is my least favorite. Hard Rain SSSS Better Alone Deep End Last piece SMFD Two Nights Utopia Bad Woman JITA I guess this is how I'm feeling with the album today. There are no bad songs honestly. I just don't get JITA though. It's catchy and interesting, in a way, but not necessary. Another side note-I'm really kind of interested in getting the instrumentals for this album. I wish some of the background noises were louder in certain songs. For ex the alarm sound in SSSS was louder in the live version and it really adds an extra oomph to me. I mean you can still hear it but it's more faint than I expected. Also the "aye" sounds in SMFD were louder on the leaked version and I really liked that. Either way I'm curious to see how they sound without vocals.
