I read the book in one sitting too! I believe I started it around eight that evening and could not go to sleep till I was finished at like two or two thirty! I tried to go lay down a few times but kept getting up to read more. It definitely is a story that sticks with you for a long time after you read it. Especially if you relate to the story and or the experience of the characters. It was so bittersweet and so real. It just resonated with me on so many levels. Great, great read! I agree this is nothing like Lolita, lol. There is no comparison to be made, at least the comparisons that I've seen in this thread. They don't compare! The closest thing that I've had mildly compare was The Way We Were. I just watched it the other night and it made me have some feels.That said it wasn't the same level as this book. I really think it was playing on some residual feelings I was holding on to from reading this book. It's truly something that sticks with you!

The book had me feeling the same way for a few days! I finally had to just get myself out of that mindset. I read somewhere that the movie doesn’t have the same flash forward ending as the book. I was kind of hoping it would! Still very excited to see it. I saw about a sequel too. Interested to see how that pans out but I actually very much like how it ended, in the book at least. Life isn’t perfect and it’s something that really drew me in. I think a lot of people can relate to that.

Book was great, amazing actually. Haven’t seen the movie yet though!

Houston - Lower level seating. Not the best but not the worst. Would have preferred a better section but we’ll still have a great time! It’ll be me and my partner. He’s not the hugest Lana fan but he likes her. He just gets annoyed with my slight obsession lol. Two concerts back to back those two weekends so either way it will be fun!

The fees on the tickets are ridiculous. I honestly think part of it has to do with the venues. I've never paid this much in fees but I also never go to shows in arenas!

I hope it does too! Honestly I'm not an arena person. I think she is so much better suited in amphitheaters but oh well. The tix are high. I'm just hoping that she really is into it and doesn't give some lackluster performance. Honestly these recent live shows with the heavy backing vocals have not been the best. I will say she did Body Electric at one show in particular and it was one of the best live versions I'd heard in a while. I wish there was a way to track the tx shows but they are all sold through a 3rd party I think.

Which ones aren't? I haven't really looked into it. How can you tell? Normally on TM I know you can buy tix off of map but my venue you can't. Is there a way to tell besides seeing it on TM?

Southeastern Texas! Beaumont area if you know where that is! It is about an hour from Houston and 30 to 40 mins from Louisiana. It isn't the most progressive area lol!

Lol they have played a Lana La To The Moon Tour commercial on our local top 40 radio station like three times a day the last few days but they would never dare play a Lana song! They have never even mentioned her before. I find it so funny but like yes Lana get that promo! Has anybody else heard the commercial I'm talking about?

Also what the hell was the deal with some codes only working with certain cities. Like wtf? Seeing people say that had me so worried to try and get my tix. I wonder why they were doing that!?

I have no clue! Sometimes you see chairs and sometimes you don't. Plus some packages say GA and some say a numbered seat. It's a bit of a mess but hopefully you get it worked out lol!

Doubtful, that'd be the only way I'd do VIP! Omg getting tix is going to be such a mess. All these venues have different ways of purchasing tickets-not just something normal like straight through TM or LiveNation. My venue doesn't even say anything about purchasing tickets online, instead it says to call or go by box office. Hopefully they just haven't gotten all their info updated yet!

Hopefully it did, did you use two separate emails? I think that should guarantee two separate codes?

Did you buy the windbreaker later than the hat. It could be if you bought the first day all this went live they hadn't integrated the info about the pre sale codes in the confirmation emails yet!
