    I fear she has returned to true form with this album. I loved Chem and BB but this is next level. The experimentation and sound evolution even exceeds NFR for me. Blending so many sounds, moods, genres, and just overall vibes on one record just further proves how untouchable she really is. Trendsetter, pioneer, visionary, all the above. Lane all her own.

    Kintsugi is beautiful. I'm torn between it and Fingertips. I love Kintsugi's outro and sentiment but Fingertips is just beautiful and so raw and visceral.

     

    Peppers in HQ is that bitch lol! I see people cringing at the covid lyric but I fucking love it. The way she says it. "whatever he has, I have, I can't cry." lol! She is so funny! I fucking love her.

    Lol, makes you wonder. Maybe they overestimated Miley or another artist. Didn’t Morgan also release. Possibly they anticipated a delay with physicals or wanted to drop more copies before release. I’m always curious about the behind the scenes. We will never know though lol.

    Lol I said I’m done guessing but here I am.  Sooo new single. Maybe it is grandfather, boz really loved that one. Maybe she did a behind the lyrics video or little explanation on what the song is about. I know he was saying he really wanted her to talk about what it means. Again less likely but at this point let’s throw everything out there and something will eventually stick lol.

    Ohhh no album trailer then. Lol idk! Honestly care less about the surprise and more about the next single.  
     

    glad we only have to wait a week for both. I’m done worrying/guessing about the “surprise” and more wondering/thinking about the next song we are getting lol.

    Obviously we are getting a new Ocean single next week. My guess for the surprise is a well produced/thought out album trailer sampling the album! We will see though. I’d love a doc/maybe behind the scenes/making of ocean boulevard type video but know that is not likely. So single and album trailer for me.  
     

    the real question is what will the new single be?!!?

    Fingertips really is that song for me out of the leaked ones so far. Just wow, it's a lot to process and take in. So sad, beautiful, and just fucking vulnerable. Sweet also is another highlight, really wasn't expecting that. This album production wise just sounds so rich. Bittersweet is a great term for it in general to me. Peppers sounds good too, harder to hear with the AI drama though lol. Same for grandfather, the tags make it a little rough lol. Haven't listened to The Grants yet.
