Same. It’s makes me think of Hope for some reason. “Don’t ask that I’m happy, you know that I’m not.” “ They write that I’m happy, they know I’m not” vibes to me. 

If these acronyms are indeed titles which I can see because she mentioned automatic writing I can definitely see them being similar to her poetry titles. It’s interesting to think about how this new process will impact the record. Super intrigued.

I also wonder, it is interesting and fun to think about. Like what would be too far for her team for them to go. Maybe he confirmed since was released technically by FJM himself. Either way Lana's team C&D'ng them def makes the silence and secrecy make more sense. That def puts the little clues/hints and indirect spills in perspective more so. With everyone talking including her direct collaborators we are definitely close to it being dropped. Again would love this year but I'm really not expecting anything till next year, I can def see semi announcement/confirmation and promo single this year though. Something like hey guys new album out early next year and he's a little promo single. I can even see the album title not being revealed lol. We will see though.

On another note, as said prev on thread will most likely be different sound than COCC/BB with BOZ hyping it up. I'm just so curious! I'm sure I will love it. 

Lana really just cannot make a bad album, to me that is... like she really is incapable. No matter what she puts out I connect with it and eat it right up.

Hoping we get single by end of year, fingers crossed!

All the teases, the he said, she said, they said had me semi perched but not fully in it. Eclipse's confirmation really has me ready now. I mean the Neil comment was cool and I took it as they will be releasing their work together soon but this additional info today is very nice. Thanks for the insight, really makes things make more sense.

The snippet definitely sounds like her when you can hear the singing. Now whether or not it’s an edit I don’t know. That said if it’s not I definitely like it. It does have a Honeymoon vibe to it. Cinematic and a little dark and foreboding. I get Religion vibes from it more so than Salvatore though. That’s just me. Well, I can hear Salvatore too but it just gives me Religion feels.

Random thought probably just my mind lol but if Lana did have any sort of dismissiveness towards SOTB maybe it’s because she’s had to plan/put her release on hold for it.  
 

Like the way she referred to it as “that snow song” could go one way or another but I will say normally she seems a tad more interested/involved when other “collabs” are released. 
 

Could be wishful thinking, since I’m ready for the album, but maybe she’s just over it because it impacted her plans/schedule.

Same to both, just want the album and also the book. The book is really saddening to me for her and for us too. I was really anticipating that one. I think it was a different level than Violet. I was and am continue to be super intrigued.
 

I’m really hoping she has physical copies of the poems either hand/type written and she just has to re-edit/format/put the book together. That said it’s still not like it would come out the exact same. Fuck the people who stole her shit.

Also it is not like EVERY song on the album will sound like that even if the record is in the same vein. I personally think people are being a little over dramatic about it.

Probably close to being done. The theft occurred months ago and since then Ben teased her finishing the album and it coming soon multiple times (last one being a month or so ago) so i really don’t think this has any impact on the album besides Lana maybe being discouraged à la UV leaks era for now

Everything you said except I would say do it all ma’am! Live your country life, promote Nikki, mix and mingle, and release the single and or album while things are hot. She can have it all lol!

I honestly think the album is done and wasn’t/will not be as impacted by the theft as it could have been. I’m sure everything was backed up. Both she and Ben have teased the album/music recently which would be after the theft if it were a few months back. I just fucking hate the book and her own personal footage being taken and irreplaceable. Hopefully she had a physical copy of her poems and will just need to reorder/format etc.  
 

Regarding album though, I really think they are/were waiting for the right time. I definitely think more will start up now that Taylor has dropped. I’m still expecting single this year and album 1st quarter next year, maybe a tad after. Either way I don’t think we are too far away. It’s already November!

Yes I love it. Lol seeing her in TX so much makes me a little proud as a fellow Texan lol.  Maybe it is time for her to transplant lol! Austin and DFW are being hailed as the new LA’s. 

Sitting with the album I really enjoy/like it. I’ve had it on repeat on and off. 
 

It’s a really nice mix of pop and the sound she explored in Folklore/Evermore as others have said. Yes it has some moments and songs where I’m like mehhh really (cringe) but it also has moments that wow me and pull me in. I don’t know what it is but I feel like a full circle moment for her and it is really endearing to watch and experience. 
 

This is my first Taylor album release to follow since her early days so it is just really refreshing and nice to experience. 
 

Also her mind/business savvy/performance is just so insane and admirable. People shit on her but she keeps doing what she wants and excelling. Definitely have to respect that.
