    Happy to hear the album is great! Definitely excited for my first listen. I’ve loved the whole rollout thus far so anticipate it is going to be amazing. 
     

    Side note, I bought my album direct for WB sore so guessing that doesn’t count as SubPop order cause it is not showing up in my subpop accnt. Can someone confirm? If that’s the case def bummer as I thought they were connected.

    No shade but WCS already so overrated.  The Great War, Bigger Than The Whole Sky, and Dear Reader top 3 for 3am tracks. 
     

    I really like the standard edition though. It’s a lot better than I expected. I’d say it lost a little oomph after Vigilante but still a solid release.  
     

    I’ll need more time to pick faves but initial standouts Lavender, Maroon, Anti, and Midnight. 
     

    All the tracks are cute in their own way though.

    I’m having my 1st listen and it isn’t as bad as I anticipated. While the Lana feature was disappointing when it came to Lana the album itself is a pleasant surprise. I’m low key enjoying it. I agree the aesthetic doesn’t necessarily match but it’s a nice little pop refresher. I really don’t dislike any song so far.  I’ve made it through Vigilante as of now.

    Makes sense. Title leads to ballad which that wouldn’t have been in line with the description.  While it reads as ballad it could be different. Idk from the title I’m feeling vibe of champagne problems or seven which I really enjoy both. Being people are feeling 70’s soft rock vibes I’d say maybe they could do something ala The Greatest which would be amazing too. That said I’m trying to go in with no or low expectations. Just very intrigued to see what they have put together, how it is received, and the affects/impacts it may have for each of them.  
     

    afterthought maybe even August lol.That could just be because I’m listening to folklore/evermore right now though.
     

    Side note I haven’t really be that into Taylor since her early days so I didn’t really pay attention to to her recent releases so much but Evermore is a really nice listen.

    but… now that we know the tracklist and the album is coming in less than two weeks, she has to do something this week to keep the rollout on a hype, I think.

    I don’t know, the info sounds intriguing but I don’t want to get hyped up and it not be accurate lol. 
     

    I know this person called the collab and it’s track number but do we have any other confirmation on their credibility?

     

    Either way I’m super excited for this. Should be super interesting and it is going to really boost Lana even more than what she has already been doing number wise which is crazy in itself. That talk isn’t relative to this thread though.

    Definitely thinking the Lana promo/info will pick up more once the Tay album/collab is released. I’m sure label would want to use as a marketing/promo opportunity with all the attention it will get.   At least they would be dumb not to. Still not expecting an album this year though! Either way I’m excited, hopefully we can start the official pre release lol.

    Track is beautiful and everything I’ve been wanting. Chill, introspective, cinematic. Production is flawless. I love it! It is just such a feeling and mood. 
     

    I snagged the purple loser edition. Love all the variants but the purple hits for me most. Glad to know will be getting the stream link early too, todays a win all around.

    i really liked folklore, evermore, her version of Red also. I can’t wait to hear her version of 1989.  It’s Lover I really don’t like (I find it very Meh 🫤). 

    I’m also really curious about this album. 
     

    I really haven’t followed Taylor closely since the original Red album. I’ve been very casual since and haven’t found an album that clicks fully for me. Speak Now is my absolute fave and the one I’m most looking forward to her re-recording. TV Red was very good as well! 
     

    Anyways point is I haven’t really been an avid Taylor listener for quite a while but I feel some sort of pull or magnetism in regards to Midnights. It has a certain energy about it. I’m very curious!

     

    Also no shade at all to Taylor as far as my not listening to her. She’s def one of the most talented and business savvy artists out there. An amazing combo. Just her later releases haven’t connected with me on a personal level like her earlier work had.

    Weyes is really coming to save us. 
     

    I just know this album is going to be one of if not my top 2022 album. 
     

    I keep bumping this thread but I really can’t wait lol.  
     

    Either way the teaser is stunning.  Everything is shaping up so beautifully for this release. It’s magical! I’m really curious what the physicals will be like.  

     

    Also loving the short rollout. Just gives such good energy! Makes me a little nostalgic about Honeymoon lol.

    I’m really so ready for this pre order to drop. I cannot wait to have this on vinyl. The cover is so gorgeous and album already sounds like a dream! She never disappoints.

    Yes love the Neil shot! It’s very dreamy. Def hoping the vibe of the album translates the same. I can’t wait.  Can we get a single soon please ma’am! Ready for the proper rollout to start.

    Lol we are so lucky and spoiled at the same time. Like it is truly amazing how prolific she is…. Just is wowing sometimes when you really think about it, especially when compared to her peers.  
     

    Anyways I want a new album asap too. Latest I’m wanting to wait is Q1 2023 but really want it THIS year lol.
