Agree. As a fan of hip hop her idea of trap is... eek. I like In My Feelings but it needed an aggressive voice. Her soft voice worked great in summer Bummer, and HighBTB worked as well. It’s a hit or miss with her and trap Imma say this again and again but a rework of a more aggressive ATL/West Coast hip hop Serial Killer with Kendrick Lamar would work wonders

this is more of a general unpopular opinion that includes many of Lana's "official" remixes but i hate remixes that are not built around the song. a producer makes a EDM tropical house song or whatever EDM subgenre is popular at the moment and then slaps some random vocals from the main song and call it a remix. homophobic this for example builds around the song, it reimagines it while staying familiar

Ever since the Me too movement, any person accused of sexual assault or rape gets kicked out of their jobs, labels, movie studios, offices etc etc and those companies/jobs put out a statement. The fact that Melanie’s management team and record label have not said a single word must mean that she never did anything right?? Why would they sacrifice their reputation by keeping silent and keeping her on their label when they have ton loads of other singers to make money off and they can just boot her off and be over it??
