Norman Fucking Rockwell - Pre-Release Thread

A literal kiii if we don’t get any news by May I wish she didn’t tease some of the songs (HTD/HIAB/Cinnamon) so early -
Still haven’t listened to EYL, True or To Be Human but the rest of the songs on Love have grown on me Did she really have to make Baby a part of the tracklist though. It’s not too jarring but it sticks out like a sore thumb considering all the other songs have slick/modern, almost futuristic sounding production.

Honestly the fact that they even let it rollout like this already says she/her management could give less of a shit for future releases lol -
I think Andromeda is one of my favorite songs of all time

As shitty as it is, the reality is that he isn’t entitled to leak anything. Just accept it and move on. Like haven’t y’all grown tired of these stagnant + petty arguments. It’s always: 1) Eclipse doing the most and spitefully teasing to hell and back with no intention of leaking 2) LB getting annoyed and calling him out 3) Eclipse getting mad over the fact that we’re getting mad and having meltdowns about how we’re ungrateful As if we haven’t already seen this same scenario 10,000 times over the past three years. -
Both Edit: But on a serious note, I get what you mean. I was really disappointed with the production and even the songwriting but it’s really grown on me for some reason.

Yes, and then I heard End of the Earth, Enjoy Your Life and To Be Human

Maybe if art direction was a thing this era -
Omg listening to End of the Earth and it’s so great. I don’t know why I was so scared. The production in the chorus is kinda generic but I’m so excited to listen to the rest of LOVE now

Some of us just aren’t a fan of the stylistic change in the music. To me, Fine China is miles ahead of any of these piano ballads melodically/lyrically. Just because she makes songs that are “sad” doesn’t mean it’s good. There’s just something about these songs that make them sound really uninspired to me at least. Plus, the lyrical cliches this era are bothering me more than any of the lyrics that got heat from past eras. Some literally sound like they were written by a LDR impersonator. “You don’t ever have to go faster than your fastest pace, or faster than my fastest cars.” -
Again with the snippets Goddamn just release it girl

I wish that poetry book never happened so she would focus her energy on rolling out the album instead Like she should have made some of the poems a part of the album’s packaging, which would have allowed her to put them out either way and it would have made for a much more interactive/interesting era. It could’ve been a win win situation. -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1BgkfN7cC8 She is so captivating Also Lana needs to make a song like Wanna Know
-
I adore her covers of Why Try to Change Me Now and I Walk a Little Faster. So wonderfully jazzy yet modern. Hearing her sing The Good Life would be interesting.
