Still haven’t listened to EYL, True or To Be Human but the rest of the songs on Love have grown on me Did she really have to make Baby a part of the tracklist though. It’s not too jarring but it sticks out like a sore thumb considering all the other songs have slick/modern, almost futuristic sounding production.

Honestly the fact that they even let it rollout like this already says she/her management could give less of a shit for future releases lol

Some of us just aren’t a fan of the stylistic change in the music. To me, Fine China is miles ahead of any of these piano ballads melodically/lyrically. Just because she makes songs that are “sad” doesn’t mean it’s good. There’s just something about these songs that make them sound really uninspired to me at least. Plus, the lyrical cliches this era are bothering me more than any of the lyrics that got heat from past eras. Some literally sound like they were written by a LDR impersonator. “You don’t ever have to go faster than your fastest pace, or faster than my fastest cars.”

I wish that poetry book never happened so she would focus her energy on rolling out the album instead Like she should have made some of the poems a part of the album’s packaging, which would have allowed her to put them out either way and it would have made for a much more interactive/interesting era. It could’ve been a win win situation.
