Tried to be as objective as possible taking into account production, lyrics and quirks (release order):
 
1. What I Like - prod is super hype and her trademark hiphop delivery
2. Stay  Away - such a immaculate electro ballad, the heavily autotuned 2020 version perfected it
3. Vroom Vroom - no need to explain. groundbreaking, still fresh and pivotal for her
4. Tears - the concept of the prod + vocal editing alone tops almost everything in her catalog
5. Lipgloss - hype hype hype. perfect feature and prod snapped 
6. Track10 - most experimental shit that sounds good she's ever done
7. No Angel - pop perfection. the little twinkling synths that back up the vocals on 2nd/3rd chorus are eargasm
8. Silver Cross/Gone - both interesting lyrical topics and stellar production
9. Claws - quintessential hyperpop Charli.  such an uplifting vibe. one of her best vocal melodies in the prechor
10. Visions - she just knows how to make a goddamn closer track

in my arms and happy now would fit this era

now that its been 5 days and I have basically the whole thing memorized front to back, I think I can confidently say this really is her best work?
I agree with other users that the lack of collabs makes this SO refreshing from her last 3 projects.
 
I think it's like if Pop 2 had a sexier and more vulnerable older sister that fully did a shit ton of ketamine. The distortion/production elements are so next level here, she and her producers are always topping themselves. 
 
I am in awe of how beautiful & real Detonate is, i'm in a situation exactly like these lyrics rn and it's just speaking to me.
What I'm NOT okay with is the slander of 7 years and c2.0????? I think those are both sooo good, 7 years is in my top 3 favs. it deserves praiseeeee!

What an amazing album... I feel like I've been numb all my life until I pressed play on this album and it's such a weird but pleasant feeling 

Wouldn’t be surprised if we get a single when the preorder goes live

Charlize really seems to have a revitalized energy these days... like the Pitchfork set, and her general mood on social media. She seems so happy and it shows. :flutter:

What I like about Lana is that ever since VG came out, she has always been that healthy looking girl. Not skinny mini nor chubby. She looks good - I bet she could go back to VG era body in no time. But thing is: people should not take model's body as a reference, those peeps are a minority and most of these super toned, skinny girls spend much time of their days focusing on diet and exercise. I'd rather have Lana focusing on music and video projects.
