I'm not trying to promote gender roles or anything but the definition of "ingenue" is a young or unsophisticated woman.

I don't know if this is written from a female's point of view but you said "He says he'll be my daddy if I'm his ingenue," and an ingenue is a woman. Not trying to be rude or anything; I'm just wondering if that was intentional.
