I love, love, love your voice! It's so innocent and melancholic. It's again, hard for me to compare you with the original, because I don't know the original but the song sounds really nice and this cover is pretty damn good! LOVED IT!

Okay, so...I actually thought this was an original song, because I've never heard it before lol. Thank God, trayer told me it was a Britney song a few minutes ago, lol. Let me say that I love the eerieness of your vocals. They're very breathy and I like that a lot. I think that during the verses you sang a bit too low so it was kinda hard to understand what you were singing. Anyway, I think this was a very good cover of a song I don't know... You have a very good breathing control and your voice is really good!

Chandelier is my favorite song of 2014 on the radio so far, I feel kinda offended by that cover.

Sia be like, "Oop someone picked the wrong song to sing". I know for a fact that you have a good voice. You're not a bad singer, but you need to practice your breathing technique a bit more. You switch through keys at times and also switch through singing styles and just sounds weird. But I liked your production and the fact that you apllied your own style to the cover.

There are 14 contestants, i think they're waiting to post every one of the entries and then the people of LB Shall deciiiiide *^^

I feel like in some parts of the song you were trying to sound like Lana, which made it sound like you were straining to hit some of the notes. You should try to sing more like yourself than the artist you're covering. You weren't bad, but it didn't feel 'organic' to your voice.. Work on finding your voice notes work best for your vocal range. Good job

Okay, now...Let me first say that I think it's nice that you participated and all and I know you obviously did it for the fun of being part of this...but you're not a good singer. You hit some really nice notes here and there but overall it's just not good.

Oh, look. It's another Amy song! I like your voice, but it seems too forced and too loud at times. Anyway I think it's not that bad, it gets better as the song progresses.

Let me say, that I absoultely love the vibe this one has. I really like the harmonies and the instrumental. You also have a very theatrical voice! It needs a bit more training, but I think you did a decent job and while i don't know the original I can say that I liked this enough to listen to the original.

I totally agree! It doesn't have to be perfect, it's your own style and what you add to the song that makes it more interesting to listen to.

I have to admit that this entry was a huge surprise for me. And I think this contestantant did a really good job. I don't know what it is but I really like your way of singing. I also liked the little harmonies and how you tried to make this song a bit more straight-forward you know what I mean? Great job!

Okay, now this entry is probably the most professional one. American Idol, look at your next contestant. This was absolutely gorgeous and amazing. Great singing, great guitar-playing and a very interesting song choice. Definitely going to listen to the original one now!

I love how lady-like you sound at times. Very glamorous way of singing...it's not perfect but it still sounds very good and you managed to hit almost all the notes. It also doesn't come off as too forced. It's very laidback and chilled. I like that! Good job!

Finally! The 3rd season of the Karaoke Contest is about to start.

As you can see in the banner above the 14 contestants were asked to cover one of their favourite songs. Not too difficult, isn't it? However, picking one of your favourite songs might reveal itself as a bit tricky, since that particular song you've chosen to sing might end up impossible for you to sing. Surprisingly, there really isn't a lot of Lana present in this round, which is good since she's supposed to appear somewhere close to the end (saving the best for the last! ).

To my surprise, yes I was indeed surprised by that, all of the contestants did a decent job on their covers and they're all very different from each other. Lots of different artists, different styles...

But before I end up having three pages of blah I should start telling you how things will work out this season.
This season we have 14 contestants participating in this competion.The best case would be to have 12 rounds with one-two elimination per round. I'll ask the voters to take their time to listen to each submission and vote for their THREE favourite entries. There will be 72 hours to vote each round. Since there is no option to close the poll automatically it'll take at least 72 hours...as soon as I can arrive. The contestant, whose entry has reached the least amount of votes will be eliminated and his/her identity will be revealed. He/she won't be able return for the rest of the season. Another thing I'd like the voters to do is to actually review the entries and to tell us why you think contestant X, Y and Z did the best jobs. I think it's very important for the contestants to see the critique given by other LB members in order for them to know how they can improve during the next round. Also, if no one comments this will be a boring-ass and shitty contest.

That said, I'd like to pass the word onto my co-host @.

Just a stray thought, but I noticed the "Lay me down tonight" part in Ultraviolence at 3:39 for the first time today
 
 
 
 
I really wondered why she decided to put that line in, but then it hit me (and felt like a kiss): The line fits way better into Ultraviolence than it does in FMWUtTT where it feels out of place in my opinion. 
 
Could it be that after she rewrote Melancholia into Ultraviolence, she liked the phrase so much that she wrote a new song based on it or simply spliced it into FMWUTTT? The latter seems quite likely to me, What do ya'll say?

Pendulum is her best song so far IMO, it is heavenly and I'd say some of the best use of her amazing vocals
