I think the melodies in HM were really amazing, the reason people don't like it as much/think it's slow to me is because the production is too soft. There was potential for the music to swell like it does in the end of salvatore in other songs but it just doesn't happen.

What is the rationale behind the decision to just throw it up on itunes, with no change to the website, no tweet, no instagram, no NOTICE for itunes, no buildup? I mean I know the leak threw a wrench in the plans. But you could at least try to build up some awareness and momentum for this. I wouldn't even know about the song being available if it wasn't for this board - and I am sure most people don't even know a new album is coming. I'm honestly confused. Is it a mistake that it popped up on itunes?

Update: no worries I got it. Also there is a Pitchfork article about the release http://pitchfork.com/news/71155-lana-del-rey-returns-with-new-song-young-and-in-love/ It includes links to buy from Google play and Itunes. I live in the UK so I don't know if it will work in the US.
