You probably know this but The Man I Love is a fake song made using the verses of the Trash Magic (Demo) which we don't have in too great of quality.

Oh, not sure. Lust for Life leak was pretty near to the release, but i do remember Honeymoon did leak a day or two before. And then instrumentals were out within a week (or maybe month?) Same with the Honeymoon sampler, I remember I didn’t think people really had a snippet of Freak but then I heard it and my wig flew farther than pluto Oh and Terrence Loves You leaked early too

Do you mean from HM era or actually during? And what kind of leak do you mean? We had Wayamaya, Joshy and I, Hangin Around, Reddit leaks the month before Honeymoon came out, and a LOT in March 2015. May 2016 brought us the (more or less) beginning of Eclipse and summer 2016 was pretty eventful in terms of leaks, so I wouldn’t say it was necessarily a drought at any point (besides March - August 2015)

Ok hear me out, but was just discussing with a friend and it's not totally unimaginable that those background vocals are from the original song's bridge. They did completely rework the song and you can totally hear new lyrics in that, though its in the pitched down vocals. "Pop song of the summer, boy All the queens want your loving, boy" + the "your rock and roll" vocals are totally random and made to not be heard so clear!!

Major thanks to Honeymouns for the acapella, but was able to filter the background vocals at the end of the song perfectly and found out Lana actually says "and your rock and roll". It's pitched way down at the beginning alongside "mic check (something "rock and roll")" http://picosong.com/w9TM9

In 13 Beaches its at the 2nd pre-chorus In High By The Beach it's in the chorus Also I probably shouldn't sample - Just the same instrument used in a super similar way! Still pretty cool

Just found out through filtering that they use a sample from High By The Beach in 13 Beaches. They slowed it down and changed pitch a bit - Probably some moderate effects but it's nice to hear considering this is HBTB's less enthusiastic twin sister. http://picosong.com/w9tmS
