I don’t like Halsey but she snapped on this single. It’s refreshing it’s not generic as her other recent songs. Reminds me of Perfect Illusion in a way that she released something that wasn’t necessarily popular right now.

I have a horrible feeling that one of the songs we lust for is not on the album. I’m betting HIAB. Because of the way she re-used the video for it and was supposed to drop it s a year ago.

I don’t get why people ask for links go on twitter and type in the song and select latest tweets or picsong. Or go to google and search it and do a refined search in the last 1hr or 24 hrs. It’s easy as pie honestly No need to cause Elle trouble and get the forum closed.

I still find it disappointing how she’s blatantly watered herself down (shortening name, weaker lyrics, more basic production) Being more famous and generic isn’t necessarily a good thing because you have to basically release garbage. She’s tried to update her sound and make it a bit more accessible which hasn’t worked. Honestly she should realise having a core or niche fan base is better and more genuine. I thought she was someone who valued her work and music as art....to think maybe she just wants to be top of the charts and to be like Katy Perry feels hollow and not very genuine .

The thing that annoys me about Lana is that if she actually put more effort in even 5% she would elavate herself to another level maybe even commercially. I feel recently she’s not really bothered or cared about making imagery for music. It’s like she just says ‘chuck take care of it for me I can’t be bothered’.

I love how none of them really know who Lana is but call her talentless and a hack anyway. Older generation fans are so ageist to modern artists they think music was invented in the 80s & 90s and nothing can be better.

Whoever decided this needs a medal I think it’s a great song for her to cover and push to radio. It’s music and Lana and that is all that matters. She’s warming up for NFR at the end of summer. I’m sure she will put out another 1 or 2 songs after this too. I’m excited!

I get irritated when I see people constantly talking about and using the abbreviations MAC and VB....HIAB also irritating. I don’t know why...maybe because it’s so monotonous to be still speaking about songs released 8 months ago. We have said everything we need to say about those songs it’s been bled dry.

I’m sure her fans will eat up any shit she throws at them. She could have a 3 minute song of her humming the alphabet and they'd call it incredible. She needs to quit bubblegum pop it’s pretty stale right now anyway and mature up and start acting her age she’s 29 not 17 anymore.

I don’t think it would have been good if this album sounded like TFJ or EH. I personally think she should have gone with a more orchestrial sound and less generic electronic pop more like Florance and the machine. Come up with something unique as her production is pretty basic and dosn’t stand out.

It’s not a bad album about a 7.5 out of 10 for me. But production is a bit boring and bland apart from a few songs, many songs are throw aways. Some of the songs Lyrically and creatively are poor and been done a million times before. I think this would have been better as like 12 songs and not a bloated 16 album double. For me it’s my least favourite Marina Album, but that doesn’t make it terrible just least preferred out of the others.
