I don’t think it would have been good if this album sounded like TFJ or EH. I personally think she should have gone with a more orchestrial sound and less generic electronic pop more like Florance and the machine. Come up with something unique as her production is pretty basic and dosn’t stand out.

It’s not a bad album about a 7.5 out of 10 for me. But production is a bit boring and bland apart from a few songs, many songs are throw aways. Some of the songs Lyrically and creatively are poor and been done a million times before. I think this would have been better as like 12 songs and not a bloated 16 album double. For me it’s my least favourite Marina Album, but that doesn’t make it terrible just least preferred out of the others.

Whoever came up with the phrase ‘no news is good news’ needs to be shot.

So far this Era... Concept - yes Visuals -yes Music - No (so far) Lyrics - basic Vocals No (yikes really terrible autotune) So far for me this has been a 5 out of 10 era because the first single is ghastly rubbish and I actually do like latin music. Madonna was killer 80s and 90s, 00 meh some ok songs but she’s really waaaay past her best. I’m not ageist but it seems strange she acts like this at 60. Lacking maturity and doing the same old routine. LOL pirate hooker

She has a contract with her label so she can’t fuck around too much even if they are lenient that won’t come at the expense of $$$

It’s not fake it’s artistry and creating a story. Like virtually anything it doesn’t have to be based on real life. I know some of the stuff is real but it’s dramatised a lot in Electra Heart. I just don’t see much of a concept Love and Fear it’s a bit basic really and a little uninspired. I still like the songs, but many of them feel lyrically weak and stale production. She needs a better producer. Like Justin Parker she should go back to him. I get she wants to be herself from time to time, I guess her next album after this there is hope still. Love and Fear is still good but her first two albums are just a lot better to me personally, Froot was good but suffered the same with weak songs.

Artists need to do concept albums more. It’s more interesting. I’d rather Marina pretend to be a suicidal slut again for a little while. I don’t mind. She’s sounding a bit like an old women who’s retired to a cabin in the woods lately...just very hippie and “love everything” cliches Many of the new songs are slightly boring and a million songs like them exist. It’s such a flat inspired generic concept really....two albums called Love and Fear. My 10 year old sister could have thought of that. Same for Lana really, I felt “Love” and “In My feelings” were lazy. But what she lacks in song titles she makes up for in lyrics and production.

The poems make me very disappointed because they are nothing like her songs, which I DO consider poetry. Her poems make me cringe they’re pretty bad.

Lana is lazy and she’s likely not caring at all about charts, it’s like she want’s to be lizzie again in the bars singing to 50 people. I think it’s obvious now she is just having fun in her personal life and with her poetry book and dosn’t want to give it up to promoting and touring just yet. She’s waiting till the summer....I’m sure. She will release in your car as first single bookmark me.

I’m excited, I have a love hate relationship with Madonna, her music is mostly good, her performances are good and lyrics. but overall her singing is pretty below par and she seems like a bitch, which means it is difficult to really love her as a person.

The people who leaked her older unreleased stuff didn’t parade them around for attention. They just dropped it. People listen to the unreleased stuff because it’s everywhere, Lana has no plans to release it. So it doesn’t matter at this point. It’s always the person who leaks stuff which is the culprit, because once something is leaked the damage is done. Didn’t she also beg you not to leak them and you still did? I don’t think you are a victim here sweetie so quit acting like one.

True! Art Angels is way better. I mean a lot of songs on visions are not even songs just basic electronic production while she makes weird noises. Visions is over rated.
