  1. For me it feels tasteless compared to INL, that was a mature sound a masterpiece. But it just wasn’t commercially accessible which is why I sense she’s shifted more to RnB and trap pop. She does it very well but so many pop girls could put out a record similar to this. But could they do something like wounded rhymes or INL? I seriously doubt it.
  2. . Generic means it doesn’t stand out it’s been done and is everywhere. This for me devalues it. I feel it’s just heading in the direction of what is currently trendy. It’s not aimed a a genre because I like RnB and trap. But for me her other albums had a unique and well crafted sound, this for me just feels like it’s attemtping to fit in with the current. I like some of the songs on SSSS don’t get me wrong but for me personally it’s way below par of what she is capable of.
  3. Lily Allen, Mø her music is really generic now. Natalia Kills/teddy, Britney spears...shes got really boring. Lykke Li - her last album was again genric. Twenty One Pilot - new album isn’t intresting same old sound.
  4. lol you don’t know that. This is just three songs
  5. Summer bummer, in my feelings, ...Serial Killer! Overrated song fans hype up so much it’s nauseating. It’s F***ing average bitches!
  6. Cinnamon is boring and that is saying something as I love most of her slow snail pace songs with minimal production. I hope the rest of the songs are like MAC lots of production and electric guitars. Honestly why would she even need Jack if most songs are slow and minimal..any of her old producers could do this. I’m not here for the title track being some 6 minute cruel world rip off...Not saying that's bad but it’s predictable.
  7. I bet we will get “sorry guys I’ve had the flu the day before I was suppose to record the album, the next recording slot is now another 6 months!...but here is a link to a song for some David Lynch soundtrack nobody asked for”
  8. Lana getting more tweets for this drag then her music....
  9. I just went though a whole bag of popcorn on this drama
  10. I’m a fan of there previous albums but this seems really uninteresting and nothing new. So far there songs have not hung around very long before I’ve gotten bored od them a week if that. They need to evolve because it’s become stagnant. I think this has been a massive flop era for them and it’s been very disappointing. Sales and chart positions and even YT veiws are below there standard.
  11. I was scrolling through the charts and seen Video games in the top 10, I honestly thought it was some generic rap song or something because it sounded like it. At the time Gotye was number 1 on the chart if I recall. I wasn’t that taken back by video games but I thought it was very different, I then listened to Born to Die (song) and I was really captivated by it! I stumbled across many of her old songs and videos, along with an interview she did ‘poolside’ at the Chateau Mormont, I remember thinking how mysterious, stylish and just very refreshing. She wasn’t some dumb pop singer she sounded genuine like she really cared about her music and art/imagery. I connected Immediately with her vulnerability, her shyness and nervousness. When the album came out BTD I think it honestly changed me as a person, it was almost like a coming of age moment. My interests completely changes and I became more mature and got really deep into all sorts of music and art etc. Lana was like a key to a door for me. Her music helped me deal with my depression like an outlet, each album has it’s own feeling and atmosphere depending on how I feel there is a song and album for it. So finding Lana and her music was an Important moment in my life and still is almost 7 years on.
  12. I honestly don’t like Dr. Luke anyway regardless or if the claims are true or not. He rehashes the same crap over and over again.
  13. Lana was friends with Kanye and Kim she sang at there wedding. I’m glad she’s speaking up because Kanye is an unacceptable excuse for a human being. He needs help from a professional and I’m saying this seriously not as an insult - he either has a personality disorder (no offence to others with MH issues) or some deep rooted psychological problems.
  14. A harsh opinion - she’s nothing special, generic pop, basic voice that sounds like a million other pop singers on Spotify. It’s music you can bop to but she is not in the same universe as Lana. Kim’s music is more like something I would listen to in 2010 that I now cringe when listening to. The final nail in the coffin is working with Dr. Puke - she’s probably got him on the cheap as he can’t find any work. What a mistake as her fan base target is likely Kesha fans and the gays. This new EP looks like some Fame Monster shit to be honest - it’s been done before.
  15. The album does sound like FROOT 2.0 ...I thought maybe she was going to make more generic chart sounding songs like baby. I’m here for it though. I think she should makes songs with fresh production, lots of instrumentation much like what Lana is doing. She’s got the brains and the writing capabilities to do better than basic pop.
  16. Sky Ferreira - Masochist ....It’s been so long I don’t think it’s ever coming. Let’s pray she doesn’t overdose on crack. I feel like Sky is so fragile.
  17. I bet she releases a *real* lead single in March and releases the album in like early May. Lana given time can change her mind and might think of new songs or ideas that I bet will push the album back.
  18. Baby is terrible- not sorry! She better not put that generic local music on her album.
  19. I doubt it’s her song it’s clean bandits very clearly
  20. It seems trendy to hate everything Lana releases when it’s announced and released. Honestly people have been doing it since Ultraviolence. She’s not here to write music for you she’s an artist with her own visions. I think she is breaking the mould with the next album. Being experimental is often where the best music comes from.
  21. Venice Bitch as an Album title ....sounds like something Britney Spears would call an album in 2008. Yeah it would look nasty with her other albums. Definitely be an ugly duckling.
