I’m not bothering looking for leaks because it’s basically out in less than 48 hours. That and certain leak websites are down.

I think that is a screw up on their part..they presumed they’d count as it contained a digital version that could be downloaded. Ultimately they still get the money regardless if of chart position.

I think it’s a blatant money saving tactic, save money on CD’s and give them empty boxes…her Label are using this release as an experiment.

I’m slightly pissed she’s done this, are CD’s not recyclable anyway I don’t buy the environmental angle. She’s also charging quite a lot for some artwork and a box.

Yes true Lana fans are probably worse in a lot of ways ? Although I think we do need to actually listen to it first though instead of listening to eclipse and Boz who are only sharing an opinion. Ones things for sure I don’t think Lordes done the bare minimum just that she failed to capture something original in the sound of the album like she did with previous records, But I still like the overall sound so far. She’s been doing the pretentious cult stuff for a long time, I’m not sure why she sticks with it…maybe because it’s minimalist which seems to be her aesthetic lately and easy to produce?

Personally I think the sound is refreshing, another PH or Melodrama would have been boring. I just feel like people are not feeling the songs for some reason, maybe they’ve hyped her return too much and it feels underwhelming. I just can’t see Lana getting as much criticism though if she did a similar style of album, she’d be praised. I don’t think the songs are worse than anything on COCC tbh. I definitely feel a slight bitterness among Lana fans towards her.

We all know that if Lana did this album you’d eat it up without a second thought. It would be all ‘omg we love Lana when she does beach vibes Magnus opus bitch’.

I have this bad habit of liking newer songs because they are fresh on the ears, but then when the dust settles I usually realise the other songs are actually better.

So far I’ve liked all the songs, whilst they are not the most original songs in the world they are intresting enouth and upbeat. I personally like the 2000’s vibes, makes me think of the movie The Beach and All Saints - Pure shores…and their is nothing wrong with that. I think it can only get better when we have the full album. I honestly think it’s more interesting in parts than COCC and I think I’m gonna play it more. Ranking so far……Mood Ring > The Path > Solar Power >> Stoned >>>California. Although The path keeps switching with Mood Ring.

Yeah that’s a bad idea, I try only listen a few times…easier said than done. I just get so irritated by the song otherwise.

She really does look quite unwell, she always has done. I’m not sure if it’s drugs or illness or both..she’s never really opened up about her health. I remember reading she had some sort of surgery a few years back, or at least her mother mentioned it on Instagram. It’s all a mystery

I know it sounds disgusting, but I honestly felt she’d die before an album is put out…she just gives me those Amy Winehouse vibes. A lot of the time she posts my first thought is ‘oh she’s alive’.
