Gonna chime in, I feel Lana mentioning her friends all the time is a bit cringe tbh. I’m not all that interested in them but happy for her she has a great support base around. But Id rather she didn't keep name dropping people we don’t care about. ‘Lana writes for herself’ well why release the songs then? Lol just share them among her friends..so I don’t believe that.

I’d love that, But she can barely manage radio interviews and magazine interviews…a whole documentary might be a bit much for her.

I prefer her more cinematic songs and heavy songs like you mentioned. I like COCC and the three new songs but it isn’t really what I’d like from her. So I do feel a little underwhelmed but still like the music. I have different moods so sometimes I feel like Blue Banisters and NFR type songs and other times I prefer West Coast and Venice Bitch. Yes and she’s done that for a few albums now so time to go back to full on production

The new songs are a lot to take in they have such complexity and lyrics. Definitely going to take a good few listens to really feel them.

They have basic ears and can’t appreciate complexity. They can go back to their levitating remix.
