In regards to the collaboration with Azealia, some fans have taken to directly ask Shygirl how ARCA (Who has been publicly mocked and misgendered by Banks) feels about the collab, to which Shy responded with "It's weird people assume we haven't [discussed it]. I think people on the internet take things that aren't about them more serious than the people actually involved. Maybe because it’s from the outside looking in, but relationships are more complex than the internet can explain. All of our mutuals are close. It’s weird how it’s more the people who don’t know any of us personally that have more of an issue."
