Amazing!! Definitely share your photos with us (if you're comfortable doing so that is :))

How did you figure out where to wait to meet her after the show & about how long did it take her to come out? I'm seeing her later this week and I've noticed she's been coming out to meet fans afterwards and would love to wait out for her after my show x

Just find where the buses are and be patient! Since the venues are smaller, it’s usually not too hard to find them! I think we waited for 2 hours or so.

I will also say I thought this was a very young crowd for her. I am long used to feeling like the only old guy at her shows. But tonight it seemed to be all an especially very young crowd. This might be why she’d cut a new song versus an old one? At any given show people are seeing her for the very first time. Extra for a new city. This might have been the first time a lot of the crowd here has heard the BTD era songs live? That might also be presumptuous on my part.

I am so tired of this excuse, BTD is not the only album people know. You can hear entire audiences singing the lyrics of Cinnamon. NFR is her MOST critically acclaimed album and the fact she’s ignoring it is an unprofessional major disappointment.

She did do Blue Jeans and OTTR but no MAC. I really can’t believe she cut it from the set. :( Otherwise I had another great time! My fourth time being at barricade. Way on the side and she’s never going to come say Hi to me but that works for me. It’s nice being so close. I was right in front of the swing. For Video Games she was *right* in front of me.

She seemed happy onstage, playing a city she never has before. Appreciative of the crowd. The venue was a little weird, but not stupidly so. It worked. The sound was a little off I think here and there. The bass from the backing track was overly loud at times. But that could be me right by the speakers or whatever. She sounded fine. Fantastic even! I heard no whistling during WM. Copyrights came back to Pretty...

Very curious what your experiences are like, seeing Lana several times for the same tour, but also seeing a lot of familiar faces in the audience.

Do you interact a lot with people waiting in line, are people rude/nice/annoying?

btw, Sean came out with her when she met us outside and he was super chill and cool with everyone. I think it’s cute he came out with her. I’m sure his occupation helps her feel safe in situations like that, especially after the kidnapping drama she had to deal with during LATTM tour.

I think we as a community need to accept his job as a c*p and just be happy for Lana. He clearly makes her happy, and that’s all that matters.

Yes, totally agree. He was chill, seemed protective but let her have her moments with fans-- and they are so cute together I think :flutter:

I love seeing her a lot when I can! I also see Father John Misty a lot (10 Times last year!). The shows are always a little different even if the setlist doesn’t change much from show to show. I have never regretted over seeing them.

I don’t queue for most shows, and when I do it’s only for a few hours. I can’t do the all day or overnight thing. I am older than most of the crowd so I don’t interact too much with people honestly. But everyone around/next to me at her shows has always been super chill and nice (except for the pushy San Francisco gays at that one show...). When I do early entry I do see some of the familiar faces we all know from social media. I have never seen any rudeness. Everyone is always there to have a good time.

are you referencing the 2014 show in San Francisco??? That show is iconic for all the wrong reasons, I remember hearing a lot of stories and that one girl that did this show recap back in the days, it was wild!

I've personally seen Lana three times, but each time in Montreal, so I've seen the same crowd at front row pretty much, don't really interact with people there tbh, most of them annoy me a little lol.

Not that one! 2017 post LFL. That girl’s video made me scared tho lmao. I left my glasses and wedding ring in my hotel because I was afraid I’d lose them... It wasn’t quite as bad as that girl made it seem but still just stupid pushy the entire time. Worse than Lollapalooza.

Oh my god, that was my first Lana show and it was so, so wild... the people in the crowd were like wild animals lol. The crowd was like an ocean, it was constantly moving. At no point during the show were both of my feet on the ground & standing up straight. I'd be leaning to a side, one foot on the ground, or even at some points I'd have no feet on the ground and I'd just be hoisted up by the sea of gays lol. I remember before the show started, the whole crowd fell to the left, fell to the right, fell back, and then fell forward and the barricade tumbled. Everyone lost their balance at once and tried to correct it which only made it worse lol. & I'll never forget how funny yet tragic it was when these two guys near me got into a first fight, one socked the other in the nose which caused it to bleed, and they both had to be carried out of the crowd.. the funniest part though was Lana was singing Young & Beautiful when it was happening. The juxtaposition of Lana singing this beautifully sweet love song while these guys were punching each other was just hilarious to me. That crowd also evoked a monster in me as I did the worst thing I've ever done to another human that night - towards the end of the show there was this one guy who was putting his hands above his head, leaning over, and "drilling" his way through the crowd. I saw him approaching me and I was like not today sis so I put my gum in his hair... still feel terrible about it to this day, but it's what he deserved lol. So every Lana show since has seemed "tame" to me (even though I've had lots of wild Lana experiences) x

I remember seeing a lot of tweets and tumblr posts back in 2014... this particular show was batshit, almost discouraged me from attending my first show a month or so later. Let's say that the crowd was pretty tamed at my show comparatively, still witnessed people being pushy (and the other two shows as well) but it's not that bad when you're leaning onto the front row fence, still annoying being pushed, but yeah. Lana shows are quite something, I don't even know if I want to be front row again.  :rip:

I remember that gum story but I forgot that was you Elle! I wouldn’t feel bad. ;)

The roses she’s holding in the photos as she’s leaving stage are the roses I gave her :omg:

Also, here’s my photo of meeting Lana after the show! I wanted to talk with her, but I was one of the last people she met and I could tell she was so cold, and I didn’t want to keep her out and longer than she needed to be. The quality is bad (I wish I would’ve asked her or someone else to take the picture :toofunny: ), but hopefully there will be another opportunity someday!

I’d post my barricade photo but it’s legit terrible...
