graham4anything 2,859 Posted October 13, 2015 this year I purchased Honeymoon (7 different ways) last year I purchased Ultraviolence (countless ways) the year before I purchased Paradise stand alone, vinyl, and assorted others then the deluxe version too and before that Born to die purchased 2 David Lynch cd's he recently made. and I purchased the Pet Shop Boys and Elton John albums that were released in those years and Leonard Cohen's albums released during this time period and I think 3 Brian Wilson both vinyl and cds inc. his take on the complete Smile. and maybe a couple more of older artists in that those years from Born to Die to Honeymoon basically no other newer singer as their songs just don't inspire me to go out and spend my money. Nothing against them personally. but they don't do anything for me. nor do I find myself in the car listening to anything but lana from the 1st cut to the last. 0 Quote Lana is our modern day Edith Piaf. Totally unique. a mixture of Brian WIlson Roy Orbison, Leonard Cohen, Gram Parsons, Elton & Bernie. Born to Die/Paradise is comparable to Elton's Captain Fantastic.
