L+F was such a cursed era particularly behind the scenes and I would really love to know what her original vision for the album was, especially with all the leaked "Aquamarina" visuals.

Jesse was publicly accused in early 2019 and I believe the tracklist was already announced by then. marina might have heard rumours in 2017 or 2018 behind the scenes but he only worked on two songs, one of which she re-wrote and registered without him (if its worth it) so if she really cared that much about there's nothing wrong with you she could have done the same, I think she just wrote enjoy your life and liked that more than tnwwy personally.

someone messaged katie mcintyre (the original designer) on instagram and she couldn't say much for legal reasons but there was behind the scenes drama that lead to the cover being scrapped, there were other designs too but she couldn't share them it's probably why handmade heaven was moved from january to february with no warning and why the covers we got were so... uninspired.

I'm afraid there's no an Aquamarina concept. That was fanmade. The original 100% real concept was Handmade Heaven. I don't know how different stuff would've been, but I'd like to think that at least some outtakes would've made it. Problem is that the songs still had generic and mediocre production.

BUT, this original artwork ate. I don't remember if this was the original album cover or the original Handmade Heaven (single) cover

Yeah, I just jokingly refer to those outtakes as “Aquamarina,” since I couldn’t remember what they were originally for. I didn’t realize someone did a fan concept with it.

Speaking of which, y’all remember when we thought the album was gonna be called Late Bloomer?

I’ve always been really curious about what happened behind the scenes with that cover/shoot because aren’t the visuals and cover art for Superstar from that same shoot?

She quickly (and rightfully) followed up with ADIAML to wash away the L+F hate. Man's World was written nearly instantly because she understood her feminist message could not go wrong. The contract theory makes no sense. L+F was pushed by the label though indeed, as she had no idea what to sing about, hence so many outtakes with so many different people that Atlantic obviously paid for and expected a return.

 

Btw, Aquamarina was her name on the private Facebook account; that's when the theory began, and that was way before the cover of Handmade Heaven leaked.

That is the same shoot. Probably also the reason why the music video for Supestar didn't happen was the abandonment of Aqua-concept, later reused for an acoustic video lol.

I spoke to someone who I consider to be a reliable source, allegedly marina had an argument with the design team, even after making them work Christmas and New Year’s and then just scrapped everything and redid those visuals…appallingly might I add

I wonder if the song is called South Of France because she put it as a location. I mean it be literally the location of the photo but I remember she has put Butterfly and other hints as a location as well in her older posts from 2024.

it's the 'american life' snippet, it's not the same song as metallic stallion (which some people have been speculating)

She looks so great and amazing. The blonde hair and style overall is kinda like Madonna x Gwen Stefani hybrid. And it also looks like that Electra's black heart on her cheek but maybe it's a fake mole. I'd be kinda surprised if it is a heart since she has moved on from Electra Heart era.

That title is ridiculous, I can't tell if I like it or hate it. I can't wait for the album announcement though bc I'm so curious about what her vision for this album is.
