Emile Haynie spoke on the Podcast "How Long Gone" about Lana Del Rey and the beginnings of her career.

He mentioned that when he met her pre Born to Die, she had a MacBook she kept in her bag with her everywhere she went, with the video games music video on iMovie and was almost shy and nervous to even show it to people.

He also mentioned that Lana was not signed to anyone when they met, she was all on her own, trying to get people to see her vision...but for a long time no one did.

He also mentioned the studio he made at the Chateau Marmont, working with Father John Misty and Lady Gaga on an album.

Thank you, it was so painful flicking through the episode after I realised nothing else interesting was going to be in it and the hosts are so annoying.

Narrowed the tiktok one to start at 49:20 (unless for some reason its different on yours). It's still not very interesting.

These hosts are the popular sober guys who you meet at an event party in ny and la and it's nails on a chalkboard every minute you have to speak to them and constantly feel you have to one up them with every sentence you speak and they are so tiring to interact with.
