I'm extra disappointed in my community as a Mexican male, how many of us went over to Trump like if he didn't run his 2016 campaign based off hate on Mexico is insane. I'm more at peace knowing my dad, brother, and myself voted for Kamala, but it's still so disheartening. I voted with my sister, my friends, my mother, my grandmother, everyone in mind. It shows how machismo is still very much a thing in our culture, and it's crazy that Mexico was able to have their first woman president before us.

Same. My family is Puerto Rican (and Haitian, mixed). Trump SHAT ON BOTH GROUPS...but my parents STILL voted for that man. Zero national pride. It shocks me.

i don't believe the democratic party will let that happen if they want any chance of winning, it seems like she was less popular than anyone could've anticipated, i find it surprising as well, i really thought she had gained momentum, especially in comparison to biden
