It’s the US Thanksgiving: I’m surprised she even announced the album just before this holiday. Nothing happens in the US during those days. 
 

I must say that this album is confusing, if only for the sound: « it’s country » « I feel like a pause needs to be taken, I don’t want half-baked songs » « it’s Southern Gothic » « I might have been wrongly translated » and now this picture with that title… doesn’t give much southern gothic vibes at all. 
 

anyways, I don’t feel like Zodiac will be part of this album so where is the HQ leak? I want to properly close the Ocean Blvd era by listening to it between A&W and Candy Necklace

Each album has its own way of releasing singles, but since Henry is the first single, I think it could come out way before March, like in December or January (let’s face it: this song will never chart and everyone knows it: so there is no need for a « strategic » release date ). Unless something else, none album-related is scheduled to be released before the album singles. 
 

im expecting now something that will be familiar to what Cigarettes After Sex did for their X’s album: a single every two months, with the first coming five months prior to release.

I swear, people on Lanaboards act like Lana doesn’t release every 1-2 years. I can happily wait for this album, tbh. She really should have taken a longer break between Ocean and this, because Ocean felt so definitive and chapter closing. Not ready to hear her sing about Louisiana swamps and MAGA cock.

Well, she said it was coming in September. And then promised two singles. It's not like we made it up.

I hope the album has some big songs,  some of her best…because it would be a wasted opportunity to have a stadium tour in one of her biggest markets and not capitalise on it, and instead release some very laid back BB piano songs.

As for the two singles, they probably will be released before the album, just not by the end of year. 
This should be our new LB motto: Unless Ben reposts what she said or there’s a preorder attached to the supposed date, I’m not buying it anymore

The title has really grown on me. It’s like she has shifted her perspective from “when’s it going to be my turn, don’t forget me” on Tunnel to “fuck it, who cares, the right person will stay”. I’m excited to see the narrative and themes on this album but so far I’m expecting a way more light hearted, stripped back, sonic soundscape. Something sunny and mostly happy which will be great for a pre-summer release.

I’m wishing for something as grand as the Ocean Blvd title track but hey, if it’s not happening, I won’t be mad: Ocean Blvd was pretty much what I wanted in a Lana album and then some
