It was cute. I think she didn't sell this properly. It's not as dance-y as I was expecting, even on a trance level, some of the songs take a bit too long to build to what they want to do and then they're over. Wanderlust is awful. Childlike Things would be great without North on it. I liked everything else. Sticky is a career highlight! She made that one for girls like me. Better than Caprisongs on a first listen. Excited to sit with it more.

this record is good but some songs need more room to breathe or feel very random and incoherant

like for example sticky could have had another chorus but instead she decided to stop the production and switch to this heavy trap beat moment for shock value and then it was over i was like okay then

i kind of agree. even tho i love sticky, this album isn't a most solid hit. some parts are kinda underwhelming or random, but then it also has some very high highs: such as eusexua, striptease, drums of death and girl feels good. i think more time could have been put into this record ngl. still, i think it has some high highs, but the overall project itself needs to grow on me i think

The promo imo dosent match the record at all she did all this weird alien shit being bald and then all the covers she's like contorting in weird ways and it's just a semi decent "dance" record.... also I still hate the cover she chose any one of the single covers would've been better

im kinda sick of so many modern songs doing this, building the production up to then shut it down, or taking the whole song to build up for it to then only last like 20 seconds so they can keep their cute tiktok friendly 2 minute track length... its annoying

Ok I just finished the album. I'm not blown away by it, nor disappointed either, but I was hoping to like it more than I was going to. Some places on the album are absolute smashes, but other areas feel underwhelming idk. I think the concept if anything carries the album by far. I see myself coming back to some tracks but other than that as a full record it's probably her least consistent work so far
